If the program sets the bitflag for "is second ability", the game will look up the data and find 00, which is "no special ability", because they only have 1 ability programmed. 1

Didn't Work but thanks for the suggestion!

I can't speak entirely for this app, but I can speculate if there's any automatic-application based on PID. If it's an odd-value PID (instead of even) and the app is setting the bitflag automatically? (This is moreso a troubleshooting guidance for the app author, not the user!)
codemonkey85 Posted April 8 Author Posted April 8 @Kaphotics I don't think I'm doing anything particularly weird here? User chooses an ability, and I use PKHeX.Core.CommonEdits.SetAbility() to set it (for Gen III). If you're curious, this is what the code looks like: https://github.com/codemonkey85/PKMDS-Blazor/blob/2650efd07189eabe7b3f1cc8d91835997f22527c/Pkmds.Rcl/Components/EditForms/Tabs/MainTab.razor#L276 @bind-Value:set="@(ability => Pokemon.SetAbility(ability))"

PkmnHack Posted May 20 Posted May 20 (edited) The Gen-3 Ability issue Still Hasn't been Solved I see. Great Project! Hope the issue gets solved soon! Edited May 20 by PkmnHack
Rin11s Posted June 17 Posted June 17 (edited) @codemonkey85 Is there a way to add Mark on SwSH and ScVi at the moment since I tried finding all the section and initially thought it was on cosmetic but can't find any. If not is there any plan to add it in the future? Since right now I cannot use PkHex with .network requirement so your web app is really much appreciated to me. Ikkarus Posted June 20 Posted June 20 Hey, thanks for the awesome web tool. I have a problem when loading mystery gifts for gen 3 games. After choosing the wc3 file, I get the error "The file is not a supported Mystery Gift file.". It seems, that PKHeX needed a plugin to read wc3 files. I attached a mystery gift and save file to recreate the error. E - Item Old Sea Map (JPN).wc3 Pocket Monsters - Emerald (Japan).sav

Yep, I can add that to the list. 23 hours ago, Jacob32705 said: Does this work for fan games such as insurgence? No, fan games / hacks are not supported. Official games only. 9 hours ago, Ikkarus said: Hey, thanks for the awesome web tool. I have a problem when loading mystery gifts for gen 3 games. I believe there is a way for me to support PKHeX plugins, but I haven't really dug into that yet. Thanks for the info and the test files. I will add this to the list as well.

I can see where this would happen in PKHeX's logic, but I never set negative IV values lol. @codemonkey85 seems like an underflow via GUI, which sets values to the higher bits, unintended. I'll revise PKHeX's code for better range checking, but you should probably have some negative value prevention in the GUI if the GUI interaction can impact other value setters. 1
codemonkey85 Posted July 19 Author Posted July 19 It never even occurred to me that somebody would subtract to get to 31. I’ll definitely have a look at that. 1
TDotGill Posted August 21 Posted August 21 Hi, is it possible to add in Rom Hacks like Run & Bun or Kaizo? I don't have a computer so only really use my phone so this has been a godsend! Theres a .lua file for R&B but i can't figure out if i can upload that into PKMDS. Any help would be appriciated!
codemonkey85 Posted October 23 Author Posted October 23 @TDotGill Sorry but no, PKMDS will never support ROM hacks.

I'm using the yellow version I've been getting reports of this lately. I think it's an Android Chrome issue - I've heard FIrefox on Chrome doesn't have this problem. I'll see what I can do here. 11 hours ago, gootznbootz said: Will the online editor ever support Legends ZA? Support for Pokémon Legends: Z-A is now available. I had to wait for PKHeX.Core to update, then I needed a save file or two to test with, then I had to actually code the changes. These things take time.
Vesperian Posted November 13 Posted November 13 Hello Sir codemonkey85, I wanted to reach out and say I'm a new fan of the PKMDS web tool! It's so clean, easy to use, and honestly, I find the web interface better than PKHeX for quick edits. I noticed when im on the websites that its stuck on the loading screen when I try to load it. Is the site down for maintenance right now? Thank you for all your work!
lunobbz Posted November 15 Posted November 15 Hi, I just wanna thank you for the app first, it definitely made my post game SV so much funnier. But now I tried for the first time use it with my ZA save and I simply coundn't export the save file. It works exporting pokemon files, but nothing happens when I click "export save file". There's something wrong with my save? Am I not alowed to make any kind of changes like making a Galarian Slowbro Alpha or something?
