bilibomb Posted August 13, 2022 Posted August 13, 2022 Hi everyone. I am using the Gen 8 OW Shiny PID Genner to make a Mesprit shiny. But after I changed the PID shown by the PID Genner, it still shows "Invalid: Encounter Type PID mismatch" error. This situation seems only happend to Mesprit in BDSP. Does anyone know how to resolve this problem?
theSLAYER Posted August 13, 2022 Posted August 13, 2022 Try this instead: Make sure you select the correct options
theSLAYER Posted August 13, 2022 Posted August 13, 2022 @bilibomb please make sure you're selecting reply instead of report. It isn't good to misuse the report button, especially when you meant to reply. Also, if you're getting an error message doing so, then you've obviously did it wrong. For starters, load up a BDSP save, then try using the Roaming8b option. For now, don't select any IV options. (besides the 3 guaranteed IVs)
bilibomb Posted August 13, 2022 Author Posted August 13, 2022 @theSLAYERSorry for that, I didn't look carefully and mistaken report and reply It works after using the Roaming8b option, thanks alot. 1
theSLAYER Posted August 13, 2022 Posted August 13, 2022 i figured it was that (for both points). Glad it works!
harry_pc24 Posted Saturday at 03:25 AM Posted Saturday at 03:25 AM Hi, i´m use your plugin Overworld/Max Raid IVs in pkhex. I have a question. What is "Include Forced" for search shiny pokemon? What is forced shiny pokemon in Brilliant Diamond and SWSH?

The forced shiny isn’t applicable to every encounter; some encounter scenarios (and not all) can “force” a generated PID to be shiny. Basically in scenarios like that, the shiny determination is separate from the PID generation process, and the “force shiny” will modify any calculated PIDs in a while that would result a shiny PID. One example would for SWSH overworld encounters. If shiny = true, it will modify the PID as mentioned above. Off the top of my head, can’t think of a scenario for applicable for BDSP
