Does PKHex work with Yuzu saves for Brilliant Diamond

So i am trying to edit my Yuzu game save with PKHex and when I save the SaveData.bin in the folder it starts me over in the game. I moved my OG save into a different folder so I have that in case it doesn't work for (which it didn't) and put my newly edited save in the folder it belongs to. Does anyone know if it works with Yuzu game files? All I did were make my pokemon shiny and give myself 990 Rare Candies. Please help.

I know it worked for me  to add the Manaphy Eff to my save file. It might be wise to upload the before and after files so that the more experienced members can try to debug the problem.

Also, you should probably change the topic to "Technical Discussions > Saves > Saves - Editing Help" so that it can be found by the correct people.
