Trying to get a save file with checkpoint on 3DS

Hello Everybody,

 

I tried to not bother you with this process but i finally need help.

 

I'm trying to get the save file from :

  into my 3ds without success.

I tried with checkpoint and jksm following all steps ( creating backup + transfering main file with out extension)

I checked and there's only one file ( hidden folder enable)

My file name is : main

But once i get into Pokemon USun , it's says file corrupted..

I tried also to delete secure value with JKSM before and after adding new save but same error.

Does somebody have an idee ?

have you made a backup from your game with either one of the save managers before?

Yes but i already deleted it since it was just a new game without a dex etc

I'm assuming your game is in a corrupted state right now.

Now, start a new game, save twice, then back up that save. then let me know.

i started a new game and save twice , here's my backup.

Now, make a copy of that folder in the same location.

Then, go into that copy, and replace the main with the main you want.

Now, restore that copy back into the game.

After that can i start the game ? Or is there another step ?

so you're using an FTP to transfer huh. Can you FTP transfer that file back from your 3DS, then attach it.

I want the one on the 3DS specifically. Not a fresh download from our website. There's something I want to check.

Yup, the save size is truncated.

 

The error was caused by your FTP, when transferring save to PC via FTP -> if you were using FileZilla, change the setting to use binary transfer mode instead of ascii.
(Other FTPs probably have a similar setting.)
