Trying to make a 6IVs star-shiny Cobalion

Hello, I was trying to edit a static encounter Cobalion from Sword/Shield to make it with perfect IVs and star-shiny.

I already followed this thread and thanks to the suggested tool, i was able to make a perfect IVs SQUARE-shiny Cobalion.

I know that i could create a not perfect IVs with star-shiny and hyper train it... but it's a kind of a personal challenge to find a way. lol

you can make star shinies with that tool..

 

Tutorial:

Follow Searching for particular IVs.

Make sure you have Guaranteed IVs set to 3.

Make sure this option is checked.
Set the dropbox to Star, and fill in your TID and SID.
(Do this before you start searching)

Damn... i was very close.

I've already tryied by myself almost all those steps, exept that i set Guaranteed IVs to 6... silly me.

However, is it possible that it don't find any results?

Maybe is just my slow pc, because when i wrongly set Guaranteed IVs to 6, it find many results immediately.

not 6, 3.

Cobalion is encountered with 3 Guaranteed IVs.

No Pokémon in SWSH overworld has Guaranteed 6 IVs.

oh you'll definitely find results,  just got to wait.

What's the TID and SID you intend to use BTW?

yeah. Alternatively, you can search the IVs with the shiny unchecked, then perform Shinification (Keeps PID, changes TID/SID) [guide] afterwards. That's normally easier.

If i change TID/SID then the Cobalion will be no more "mine" lol

you may need to wait a long while. The calculation probably takes a while to reach 6 IVs without shininess, not to mention it needing to reach a specific shiny target.

What if you use Star: Keep TID & PID. SID is not visible in-game..

Here's one I found, and all you need to do is tweak the SID of your existing copy.

Anyway, as a generic suggestion, do you think that is better to set Initial Seed (HEX) to 0 or other? (when i open the tool, it is set to 0F2B6683)

Nah, that seed throws you a perfect IV immediately if you weren't searching for shinies. It's just to show the tool is working.
I mean you could change the seed for different results, there's just no guarantee you'll find something as soon as you hit Search ><
