forums Problem uploading pictures to my profile

i made some bmp pics and i cant upload them to my profile. they're below the size asked, i attach them and everything. but the image doesnt appear

Are they the supported format? You do know that certain formats are recognized don't you?

As MewtwoEX said... how about saving your picture as PNG instead of BMP? PNG outclasses BMP in almost every way... you may as well use that format instead. What... now you're asking me about JPEG? No, do not save it in that format unless it is a photograph

I believe the supported formats are PNG, GIF and JPEG for profile pictures.

EDIT: Odd... VBulletin 4.0 does not seem to indicate that.

i first tried to upload them in as png but it said "this bmp image has the incorrect file extension"
