answered Patching 3rd gen GBA roms for Cheats?

i've seen people patching them before but i dont know how like i poste din the previous forum its same reason here atleast for Fire red/Leaf Green/Mystery Dungeon vbagx lacks cheat support so i'd haveto patch the rom.

any ideas How? im still new to rom hacking.

Well there is a program called GBAATM which allows you to patch GBA games with Gameshark/Codebreaker codes or make you're own trainers.

well ive tried each ram location and changing the cycle setting and the codes wont work when i view the trainer card i get an ear pearcing static
