So I'm trying to work on a Tyranitar file from Pokemon Colosseum, and decided to throw on every possible ribbon it could have. The only issue that pops up is the program questioning the legality of the gold Battle Memory ribbon. I assume this has to do with the fact that you can't normally earn the World Ability Ribbon in Gen 4 due to the WiFi servers having been shut down in 2014 (I know you can alter WiFi/DNS settings to circumvent this issue), so I'm only able to get an all clear by setting the ribbon's value to 7. Is there a way to have the program accept it as "legal", or would it still be accepted as "legal" on SwSh regardless?

Tyranitar from Colosseum is catchable at level 55. The maximum level to partecipate at the Hoenn Battle Tower for the Winning Ribbon is Level 50.

Tyranitar from Colosseum cannot legally obtain the Winning Ribbon, thus it cannot legally obtain the Gold Memory Ribbon in newer generations.

Ah, I completely forgot that the Battle Tower had a hard lv50 limit, I thought it lowered to 50. Guess I'll choose a different pokemon for it. But something I also noticed is that it'd be pretty sketchy to not somehow create a Home Tracker code for it. Could I somehow just transfer it from shield to home without issue, or would it be smarter to put it on a copy of Sun or Moon and transfer up from there?

ideally they should monitor every entry of the mon, but they don't. But they can always check back if they want to.

So it's best to transfer up from Gen 7.

Thanks for the quick reply. Glad I decided to put Homebrew on my 3DS last month. XD
