pulpjoe71 Posted January 23, 2021 Posted January 23, 2021 (edited) Hi all, I am having trouble with the blue screen of death in Pokemon White 2. The error "the save data could not be accessed please turn the power off and reinsert the game card." Interestingly, I am able to load the game fine. I dumped a sav using TWLsavetool, and I can play the game fine, but when it comes to writing data the game crashes. I am confused because I am able to write to cart (or delete the save) using TWLsavetool, but the game itself cannot write data (either saving in game or up-B-select to delete save). I tried a few different saves so I do not think that is the issue. So to be clear, the problem is exclusively in writing/deleting save data. (The contacts on the game are clean. I bought it used, and it seems dinged up a bit, but nothing terrible. Confirmed authentic cart.) Has anyone experienced this? I am guessing it's a hardware issue. Is it something fixable? Thank you! SkyLink98 Posted January 23, 2021 Posted January 23, 2021 Make a backup of the save file, then clear all the Boxes with PKHeX. Restore the edited save file to the cart and check if it works. If it does not, I sadly haven't any other suggestion.

pulpjoe71 Posted January 23, 2021 Author Posted January 23, 2021 Thanks all for the suggestions-- I think it is a hardware problem so I will try to get a return. It just takes so long and I don't know if I will be able to get it. Welp. Thanks again!
