Safest way to gen using PkHex and using in online

1. My switch were banned recently and i just want to ask for the safest way to use Pkhex and transfer it to OFW to trade online. Take note that the ban was not necessarily caused by genning, I did a lot of stuff on my switch. Just want to ask for the best practice that you guys did.

2. Also, the way understand it, to host those illegal raid den, you need to mod the game rom right? Then the only way to host it is by playing online using CFW. How safe is that? Or is there something im missing? I have't done the illegal raid hosting tho (but still go banned lol)

Can only question 1:

I personally havent heard of a proven ban from genned mons. Especially not a switch ban. In general the most important things to consider are: 
- Use the newest version of PkHex
- Check if PkHex says the mon is legal. 

I use a lot of genned mons myself and have no trouble using them .

how do you exactly gen and transfer to your game? using cfw sysnand? then turn on ofw to go online? Do you use emunand?
