pk hex not loading my saves

the first save i did loaded fine i made my modifications and they worked. i played the game till i was able to trade and got a new Pokemon from my unmoded save so i can make changes and then saved. now pk wont load the new save i did it tells me "invalid save file. aborting" so i tried opening the previous save i modded and it does the same thing. the odd thing is it wont let me load both old and new "main" but it lets me load the old back up that is in the folder with the old main file
