National Dex with the DSi?

Hey I'm newer to this website and I was wondering if the Pokemon from the National Dex will be available without the GBA slot that the DSi doesn't have. I'm just confused on how it works, can anyone lend some insight on it?

yea I was upset once I herd the DSi's didnt have a GBA slot I assume if you dont have a DS you will have to get them in trades online or with friends in order to get your National Dex

Or got rid of an older game version or never had one. I was so thrilled when I found out you could get elekid. Then I saw you had to have I think firered inserted in the game boy slot and I was like ugh seriously! So now I chase the :bidoof::bidoof: that go round and round and round. Get back here!:bidoof::bidoof::bidoof: No not really but now I have to cheat to get them because my wifi is horrid. I never liked cheating No offense to hackers and people like that. Well no offense intended.
