So... I was playing gold until the day HGSS came out... then I scrapped Gold and went to HG! By the way, Gold was good while it lasted

Wait... by scrapped, do you mean you destroyed or threw it out? Or do you mean you stopped playing or started a new game? Or even it broke on it's own? I sure hope it's the middle, because I can't help but feel sad over the loss of Gold, Silver, and/or Crystal.

yeah, i wouldn't ever want to go back to pre gen III era, knowing that my pokemon are stuck there, and can never join my gba and ds pokemon

can the wii not make japanese text mr mac and cheese?

It can show it, and you can copy and paste it, but you can't type it. Hiragana, katakana, and most Kyoiku/Joyo kanji can be displayed on the text screen, but some will show up as blocked question marks. I wish the Wii was updated to include the kana and kanji for typing, and more kanji for displaying, along with more accented letters like a vowel with a - over it to show a longer sound (eg. o + - = oo).

ohhh so all the japanese in games is provided by the actual game code itself and not the wii system hmmm ok thanks, it's like the gba (you have to program how to do text etc)
