It still works the same just if you click on the save file it will open with your desired program.

I know, but I hate the icon and how it wont show .sav or the extension.

I know, but I hate the icon and how it wont show .sav or the extension.

To show extensions in Windows Explorer, go to Tools>Folder Options>View tab>Unceck Hide extensions for known file types.

And if you really don't want .savs to be opened with a specific program, from the Folder Options window, go to the File Types tab, scroll down to the SAV extension then delete it.
