Afepoke Posted September 25, 2017 Posted September 25, 2017 If the pokemon name has with "Xe (ェ)", the name will be chopped in the middle. Moreover, if you edit Pokemon, the name of Pokemon will also be interrupted on the way. Perhaps, I think that a bug occurs in Shellder (シェルダー) and Cloyster (パルシェン) who do not have a nickname. An example: シェルダー → シ I'm sorry, I'm not good at English. Pocket Monsters Pikachu (J).sav Pocket Monsters Kin (J).sav
Kaphotics Posted September 25, 2017 Posted September 25, 2017 Probably the same as this thread, which has been fixed since the last release.
Afepoke Posted September 26, 2017 Author Posted September 26, 2017 Thank you for me. However, I think that it is different because it is a bug that occurs not only in GEN II save data but also in GEN I save data.
Kaphotics Posted September 26, 2017 Posted September 26, 2017 The current name of the Shellder in your party has the terminator character (end of string) as the 2nd character. If you've tried to use an unsupported character, PKHeX will automatically terminate the string there.
smileynation Posted September 30, 2017 Posted September 30, 2017 @Afepoke It has been fixed in 9/22 and subsequent releases.
