Why are there two "Pokemon Caught" in trainer stats?

Titles at Offset 0x69C18 and 0x69DA8 are both pokemon caught, what is the difference between them? They give different numbers in unaltered saves. Similarly there are two "Pokemon Evolved" tags.

I'm also curious why there are two different value. Is one caught in game and another caught during a global event?

0x69DA8 should be Pokemon Caught (Daily), according to https://github.com/kwsch/PKHeX/issues/603.

Maybe highest number of Pokemon caught in a day? I'm not too clear either.

Indeed it is!

So Exp points collected, 0x69DA4 Pokemon defeated, 0x69DA8 Pokemon caught, 0x69DAC Trainers battled and 0x69DB0 Pokemon Evolved should indicate that they're the highest number in a day on the tabs if they aren't already to avoid confusion.
