Ajata Posted January 13, 2017 Posted January 13, 2017 I'll try and be short and to the point, I used pkhex to gen a team that I was theory crafting and wanted to test all were showing as legal, when I imported the save game launches with a file is corrupted message and tells me to go to my home screen. I'm using Soundhax for homebrew on a new 3ds XL region US the save manager I used is JKSM and if i try to load the save in PKhex now it gives the following wall of text error message Exception Details: System.ArgumentOutOfRangeException: Index was out of range. Must be non-negative and less than the size of the collection. Parameter name: startIndex at System.ThrowHelper.ThrowArgumentOutOfRangeException(ExceptionArgument argument, ExceptionResource resource) at System.BitConverter.ToUInt16(Byte[] value, Int32 startIndex) at PKHeX.Main.openFile(Byte[] input, String path, String ext) at PKHeX.Main.openQuick(String path, Boolean force) Loaded Assemblies: -------------------- mscorlib, Version=4.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b77a5c561934e089 C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v4.0.30319\mscorlib.dll PKHeX, Version=1.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null C:\Users\Jeremy\Downloads\Genning\PKHeX (161231)\PKHeX.exe System.Core, Version=4.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b77a5c561934e089 C:\Windows\Microsoft.Net\assembly\GAC_MSIL\System.Core\v4.0_4.0.0.0__b77a5c561934e089\System.Core.dll System, Version=4.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b77a5c561934e089 C:\Windows\Microsoft.Net\assembly\GAC_MSIL\System\v4.0_4.0.0.0__b77a5c561934e089\System.dll System.Windows.Forms, Version=4.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b77a5c561934e089 C:\Windows\Microsoft.Net\assembly\GAC_MSIL\System.Windows.Forms\v4.0_4.0.0.0__b77a5c561934e089\System.Windows.Forms.dll System.Drawing, Version=4.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b03f5f7f11d50a3a C:\Windows\Microsoft.Net\assembly\GAC_MSIL\System.Drawing\v4.0_4.0.0.0__b03f5f7f11d50a3a\System.Drawing.dll System.Configuration, Version=4.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b03f5f7f11d50a3a C:\Windows\Microsoft.Net\assembly\GAC_MSIL\System.Configuration\v4.0_4.0.0.0__b03f5f7f11d50a3a\System.Configuration.dll System.Xml, Version=4.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b77a5c561934e089 C:\Windows\Microsoft.Net\assembly\GAC_MSIL\System.Xml\v4.0_4.0.0.0__b77a5c561934e089\System.Xml.dll System.Deployment, Version=4.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b03f5f7f11d50a3a C:\Windows\Microsoft.Net\assembly\GAC_MSIL\System.Deployment\v4.0_4.0.0.0__b03f5f7f11d50a3a\System.Deployment.dll -------------------- User Message: Unable to load file. I get the feeling you were using an outdated PKhex or something when you saved or something. That error message is a consequence of the file being empty, not the error message that caused you to save into nothing.
Ajata Posted January 13, 2017 Author Posted January 13, 2017 Ok thanks for the info and the fast replies I'll make sure everything is up to date when using it in the future
