Wondercards and language

Noob emulator question. For inserting JP wondercards,do I need a JP language game so the pokes won't be generated with English names or will they come out ok on an English rom? Also, I can set the emulator to the correct date right?

I don't think dates are an issue, since receiving the wondercard on one date, and collecting the Pokemon from Delivery person date are different issues.

Also, the DS dates could have been changed prior to above.

As for Language of received Pokemon, yes, has to be JPN rom in order to receive JPN Pokemon.

IIRC WC's are language-locked in previous generations.
