Help with ORAS Randomizer Nuzlocke

So many people are play Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire with the Randomizer Nuzlocke, and I can seem to find out how to play it. Please help me.

<9.2 firmware and own a gateway flashcart

-> dump rom

-> decrypt rom

-> unpack rom

-> edit/randomize rom

-> repack rom

-> encrypt rom

-> play rom on Gateway

Is it possible to use a R4 card? It uses roms. Also, is there a video on how to do this?

r4 card plays NDS roms, not 3DS.

I use a R4 3DS with the correct firmware and I do play 3DS roms.

Where do I even download roms? Is there a website for it, I used to use one but it was shut down.

I've been working hard at this all day. I managed to decrypt and unpack, extract with Garc and make the edits with RSWE and RSTE, but I don't know how to inject them per se. I recompiled into .cia and installed and it booted OR without any edits, clean dump. How do I overwrite the vanilla game with the edits?

edit your changes with http://projectpokemon.org/forums/showthread.php?44950-pk3DS-XY-ORAS-ROM-Editor-amp-Randomizer&p=198552#post198552 it will make it easier

then pack your romfs folder back into bin with this https://github.com/SciresM/RomFS-Builder/releases

replace the original romfs with the one you repacked

rebuild rom

I did just this, successfully managed to edit everything with PK3DS, found the romfs directory with the repacker, repacked and then built as .cia, installed, and still absolutely no changes. My heart drops every time I run into the grass to find a damn wurmple.

Still,it's like the vanilla game.

Edit: Okay it seems I jumped the gun. After running into a wurmple on route 101, I lost most hope. But I continued anyway, to find an emboar level 2.

It must have been a really big coincidence to run into a wurmple first.. will test further.

It was an incredibly big PITA for me to go from never dumping a rom to a finished working(debateable, dexnav is buggy of course)version of OR .cia.

Due to this, I hope nobody else has to go through that. If anyone would be interested in a randomized OR .cia, just pm me.

Will someone make an app that randomizes OrAs/XY with only an SD card?

I dont think thats possible, you need a Gateway 3ds w/ a firmware 9.2 below. With the Gateway you can edit roms and ya know. Then you could randomize it.
