hoggyz_a_legend
Whenever i enter in a code to change my pokemon, it works. But when I put it into a box, it reverts to its old stats and attacks. Is there any way to make this not happen? Is it better to use the "Box" codes or "Party" codes for multiple pokemon?
hotpinkmunchlax
Well, the pokemon party codes are shorter than pc I don't know why but even if you put 6 pokemon in the pc it is still longer than a six pokemon party. For your pokemon are you replacing the same pokemon with the same pokesav pokemon because you might not be hitting the L+R buttons hard enough. That's all I can think of. hoggyz_a_legend
Yeah im just altering my current party pokemon. From memory, the codes work, but just when i put the pokesaved pokemon into the box, it goes back to the non-pokesaved pokemon. ill try pressing the buttons harder. codemonkey85
Pokémon stored in the party have more data than Pokémon stored in the PC. 100 bytes more, to be precise; that data is what stores the stats you are trying to edit. Whenever you deposit a Pokémon into the PC, that data is removed. When you withdraw it, the data is recalculated. So there is no way to prevent those stats from resetting if you deposit the Pokémon. Unless maybe you hack the ROM to change the data structure of the save file.
