Lady Ariel Posted January 22, 2014 Posted January 22, 2014 The article on the official site appears to list Gengar as knowing Night Shade instead of Psychic and Scizor as knowing Metal Claw instead Aerial Ace.
BlackShark Posted January 22, 2014 Author Posted January 22, 2014 Oh thanks you're right, so they are different from those from the Christmas trade distribution.
Lady Ariel Posted January 22, 2014 Posted January 22, 2014 Oh thanks you're right, so they are different from those from the Christmas trade distribution. Also the OT for Gengar and Scizor is ポケセン, which is also different. Gengar has the ability Levitate and Scizor can have either Swarm or Technician as the ability. This information is also listed on the official site.
BlackShark Posted January 22, 2014 Author Posted January 22, 2014 (edited) Many thanks! I guess I should read it carefully now. Also I shouldn't trust German news sites... Edited January 22, 2014 by BlackShark my english sucks today...
Guest Posted January 23, 2014 Posted January 23, 2014 Also I shouldn't trust German news sites... I didn't see any German news site reporting on this, where did you see that?
BlackShark Posted January 23, 2014 Author Posted January 23, 2014 I saw a post in the news section on the bisafans.de forums. Here http://www.bisaboard.de/board12-pok%C3%A9mon_allgemeines/board1-pok%C3%A9mon_news/220264-turbo_news/index18.html
Guested Posted February 2, 2014 Posted February 2, 2014 (edited) I went to this event yesterday, so.... here are the usual pics imgur gallery I've added all the details to the Gallery here: Pokémon Center Gengar Pokémon Center Scizor And added the distro and WC text to the post here: http://projectpokemon.org/forums/showthread.php?33343-Gen-VI-Event-Contribution-Thread&p=175027&viewfull=1#post175027 As a bonus image.... http://imgur.com/hx9mUej It turns out the WC data wasn't restricted to a single download. We were able to download as many as we wanted. This seems to be an error with the WC data, as all of the promotional materials said the usual "one per game." Edited February 2, 2014 by Guested
Guest Posted February 2, 2014 Posted February 2, 2014 Guested: That means we were close to meeting, because I was also there. What time though?
Guested Posted February 2, 2014 Posted February 2, 2014 Wow. You went to the Tokyo one? We went pretty late, actually. I think we got there around 5:30 and left at 7, when it closed. I didn't know it was closing at 7 yesterday, otherwise we could have been there for another Scizor distribution and gotten more.
Guest Posted February 2, 2014 Posted February 2, 2014 Yeah, the Tokyo one, but I think I left the place right before 5:30. Might go again next weekend to see if they fixed the error.
Guest Posted February 6, 2014 Posted February 6, 2014 Went to Tokyo again and they fixed the distribution error. No longer possible to download them mutiple times.
Guested Posted February 6, 2014 Posted February 6, 2014 Ahhhhh, that's too bad. The other interesting thing I noticed about this event is that while the gender is random, it seems to be determined when you download the wonder card, not when you pick up your pkm. Not sure if this is a new thing on how Gen VI WCs work, or if it's just how this event works.
Guest Posted February 7, 2014 Posted February 7, 2014 Yes, I noticed that too. Must be new to Gen VI.
