XY Event - Christmas Trade Distribution Haunter/Scyther (Japan)

From December 21th to December 26th 2013 you can get a Haunter or/and Scyther (not sure if you can get both) via trade from a staff meber in Japanese Pokemon Centers and ToysRus. They will evolve directly.

You can use any Pokemon for trade.

Thanks for posting this, I saw it when the official site updated, but have been away from my computer.

This is a very interesting event. I'm surprised they're going with the trading method.... it could end up taking quite a bit of waiting in line to get this.

Unfortunately, I will not be in Japan while this event is running.

Hopefully one of our other members in Japan will be able to grab this so we can fill in the missing details.

I'd like to see any pictures of the serial code card so we can get confirmation on the dates that the serial code is valid and redeemable (as well as the usual Wonder Card and Distro text) !

Well, that's certainly an... interesting way of preventing people from putting the WonderCard up for download on the internet.

Even though I don't think that's the reason why they're distributing them that way.

I guess some events will only be available in .pkx form from now on.

Those events could *technically* legitimately exist as Haunter and Scyther, but since the only legitimate way for players to obtain them is to trade for them...

It looks like that's just for the Pokemon Center in Tokyo. It says it may or may not happen that way for the others, but to check the "staff voice" page for updates.

Toys R Us won't have a raffle, but just distribute tickets to keep order. Each person just gets one ticket per day, until they run out.

In the Event Gallery, I have these both listed with set Natures and Scyther only having Technician as its ability. Please let me know if you see any reports showing otherwise.
