calvin_0 Posted October 2, 2013 Posted October 2, 2013 apparently i have a pokemon that used to be o.k, but today when i check again with pokecheck it came out as "This Pokémon is missing DPPt hatch trash bytes." should i worry? this is a pokemon from the day of pokesav and i treasure this pokemon as i earned 20 ribbons with it legally and i plan to transfer to gen 6. if missing trashbyte is a problem, can anyone tell me how to fix it? thanks
evandixon Posted October 3, 2013 Posted October 3, 2013 You don't need to worry. Notes in orange do not mean the Pokémon is illegal, they only indicate things that are common to hacked Pokémon (like abnormally high IVs). DPPt trash bytes aren't a reliable way of determining legality since they can be removed by the name rater. However, if you want to add them back for some reason, read this thread: http://projectpokemon.org/forums/showthread.php?15732-Generation-4-hatch-trash-bytes-research-help-wanted-for-foreign-games
