I've experienced that problem before too. My friend taught me how to fix it. This is what you do:

1. Right-click on the thing you want to delete

2. Click rename

3. At the end of the name of the file type: .doc

4. Press enter and this will change it to a Microsoft Document, this way it will be deletable

5. Click on the thing you want to delete again

6. Press the delete button on your keyboard
