cantbesaved Posted July 8, 2009 Posted July 8, 2009 hi, im trying to stay away from torrents, but i dont know if visual boy advance is a torrent and if the VBA official website is a torrent, i also dont know if VBA cost's money to download, to whoever can answer this, thanx ~cbs
Inferno™ Posted July 8, 2009 Posted July 8, 2009 visual boy advance is dead. try http://vba-m.com/, which is MUCH better. VBA and VBA-m have also been free, VBA-m is open source. Plus do you know what a torrent is?
evandixon Posted July 8, 2009 Posted July 8, 2009 In case not, a torrent is a way of downloading from people who have already downloaded it. It saves web-space for the host (because one just uploades it to a free website), and is very in-secure, because normally, one has no clue if the source is reliable, or legal. NEVER download applications from one.
cantbesaved Posted July 8, 2009 Author Posted July 8, 2009 is VBA-m a torrent though? a torrent is a file that you download off of someone elses PC. therefor, opening up your PC up to anyone who wants to look and delete your files.
FLOOTENKERP Posted July 8, 2009 Posted July 8, 2009 What? I use torrents occasionally, and that is not what they are. You download a Torrent program such as Utorrents, you download a torrent file, open up Utorrents, and load in the file and wait for it to download. You know the torrent file is trustworthy if it has a lot of seeds which means people liked it and seeded it or others to download. You have no idea what you are talking about.
cantbesaved Posted July 8, 2009 Author Posted July 8, 2009 yeah, all i want to know is if VBA-m is a torrent or not, because i dont want to go through the trouble of using EZ-flash ram cart.

cantbesaved Posted July 8, 2009 Author Posted July 8, 2009 ok thanks, ill be sure to read about torrents,
PrivateMaster Posted July 11, 2009 Posted July 11, 2009 LOL I've noticed this thing since I was on YouTube. It has a built-in AVI recorder. I am elite with this thing!
