b. map save blocks 27, 28, and 55 fully - we figured them out, but i don't have time to map them and am not really hacking anymore

Does anybody know how to extract the signature from the save file?

There's something about it for 4th gen somewhere in the forums. It's probably not THAT different in gen 5.

aaany time you want to actually start contributing something useful, you have a list of what to do.

The purpose of the thread is for people to volunteer saves for researchers to work with. Look around the forums. Someone may have posted a save or two already.

we have saves. this is useless unless he's actually going to do something useful with them and not just go dick around with them, repeating work yet again.

So: Trainer Data, Trainer Position, and Swarm and other overworld info
