Guts
I have a couple of questions regarding the date I should set when doing an Event Pokemon or a traded one. Let's say I want to make a FEB2012 Mewtwo, what should the date be set as? Also, I haven't had the White 2 for long, so I obviously didn't get it through the event, so someone would have to have traded it to me. Now, do I put the date the OT got it or the one it was ''transferred'' to my game? Would I have to change the way it was met too? If it was obtained from a trade, would it have to be met in Link Trade? Also, what about a Pokemon obtained from the Dream World by someone else, like let's say Lugia. What would the date and met area be? For example, could I just transfer this Pokemon to my game as it is? https://www.pokecheck.org/?pk=4418659
evandixon
The date shouldn't matter, since it is possible to download a wonder card or Dream World Pokémon and not actually obtain it for a year. As for the met location, I don't think you need to change it. http://projectpokemon.org/forums/showthread.php?
Guts
So should I put today's date or let it to one in the past?
randomspot555
So should I put today's date or let it to one in the past? The date that appears on the Pokemon is completely meaningless. The date on the summary screen is the date the DS internal clock is set to. As long as it can legally be that date on the DS, it can be that date on a Pokemon.
