Critical Tiger Posted July 20, 2012 Posted July 20, 2012 It is on Desume a Japanese (not edited) Soul Silver using newest Pokegen I changed my Starters nature and saved it set it to the Pokemon all that stuff saved the save file which is .dst format. Opened exact same .dst save file and nothing was changed. Whats going on? I use this Pokegen fine with Black 2. Also I can't open the .dst save file while pokegen is set to english language has to be in japanese or it will close pokegen while opening .dst save file it also closes the second I click replace the save file with this one so it doesn't save at all?
Codr Posted July 21, 2012 Posted July 21, 2012 I'll need to see the .dst file you're referring to. Save state support is relatively new, and there are multiple versions of the save state format.

Codr Posted July 21, 2012 Posted July 21, 2012 You can upload an attachment with your post. Use the "Go Advanced" button on the bottom right. There's an "Attachments" section toward the middle of the page.
Critical Tiger Posted July 22, 2012 Author Posted July 22, 2012 Sorry I don't think converting to zip or rar will help me I must be doing it wrong because once the file is converted to the zip or rar its still to large.....:frown: 1 MB limit its 1.98 MB
evandixon Posted July 22, 2012 Posted July 22, 2012 You'll need to upload it somewhere else then... Perhaps put it in a public dropbox folder.
Critical Tiger Posted July 22, 2012 Author Posted July 22, 2012 http://www.mediafire.com/?vq2h49vzq9j1x2c Heres my save file on mediafire.
Codr Posted July 22, 2012 Posted July 22, 2012 That file just showed me a problem in the save state loading code. It should've been telling you that the file is invalid and prompted you to choose how to load it. However, the language aspect of it that you mentioned presented another problem. The save state loading code only uses the currently selected language to detect generation 4 games, which isn't ideal. Something will be done before the next release to deal with these issues, but it could be a while from now. Thanks for the information.
