Danstrife7 Posted June 15, 2012 Share Posted June 15, 2012 (edited) Hello everyone, I have been wondering if it was possible to get legit pkm files (whatever file type was used in the 3rd generation Pokemon games) and send them to your legit retail 3rd generation Pokemon games? I have been looking through the forum for some possible answers and I found bits and pieces. But nothing exactly referencing what I am trying to do. The reason why I would like to do this is because I am a big Pokemon fan/collector and I hope (not sure when exactly) to complete the Pokedex on all my games including 3rd generation. If someone could point me in the right direction I would appreciate it. There are only three Pokemon which I would like to do this with, Celebi, Deoxys and Mew. Those are the only three that I am aware of which you can't get without a event. If this is possible, I would like to get legit events of these Pokemon in files, if anyone has them and it isn't too much trouble. Otherwise I saw a Pokemon maker program which I could use, but we will see. Also I thought I saw that someone said that the IR-GTS would be able to send 3rd generation Pokemon files to Pokemon emerald, I think? Is that possible or did I hear wrong? When you say "no" are you saying no to the whole idea of somehow getting Pokemon files to my legit retail 3rd generations? Or "no" just to the IR-GTS idea? Thanks for replying and listening. But it's a little complicate- You need: 1. a Gameboy advance (SP or normal) 2. a copy of Pokemon Emerald/Ruby/Leaf Green/Fire Red/Sapphire 3. Xboo cable - Download your .sav file on your computer then load your sav with .pkm or .3gpkm files with encyclopedia For the third thing look here : http://projectpokemon.org/forums/showthread.php?11990-How-to-backup-and-restore-your-GBA-save-files&highlight=Xboo That way I got every pokemon I want on my Leaf Green...It's very cool Also you can share if you have any event pokemon I have some rare LEGIT events that I can trade with you. However, I am uncomfortable with soldering and I would prefer a different way. I know about another way, it involves a flash cart and copies your GBA save data to it. If it is acceptable, I would prefer to do it that way. I would still really appreciate the help with getting those legendary Pokemon? I would be happy to trade with you, if it is not too much trouble? I am not sure if I have anything I can offer you as a thanks for the help, I don't really have any event Pokemon. The only event Pokemon I have that I can think of is Jirachi from Pokemon Colosseum. Sorry. Also I have Pokemon Emerald and I know how to clone Pokemon. If it is acceptable, could you trade me the Pokemon, I will clone them and return the originals to you? Or if that is not acceptable, please let me know what sounds good to you? I am not really sure what I can offer you in return for all the help you are offering? Please feel free to suggest something and I will try my best to figure out a way. The players name is Steven. I downloaded his sav file, load it on VBA and I saw the deliver man in pokecenter on the second floor, which gives you the rare ticket. The game is saved before catching Deoxys I think. I will give you them for free I'll be glad to help you. I know how it feels to collect all 3rd Gen pokemon legit, without any cheats. Also, ok I am still trying to get my mind around this, you send me the save file and then do I use the backup GBA program to put it on to the GBA game and then trade with my emerald? maximxxl Posted July 22, 2012 Share Posted July 22, 2012 First you have to dowload your sav file from the cartridge on your pc, then trade the 3 pokemon from the sav that i'm going to send u to your emerald. and just put your sav back to your cartridge. that's all and yess tell me ur email. this way i'm trading pokemon with the xboo cable.
