having some troubles with the japan platinum newmoon darkrai code

when it is turned on, and i press the L+R+select, the door to canalave-inn is locked still

there is also member card in game. are there suggestions to fix and help the problem?

I think you have to get the member card form the green guy in the pokemart and then go to the inn.
