Poketransfered Pokemon's names

Hello,

as some of you may already know, when you transfer a Pokemon from D/P/Pt/HG/SS, if it does not have a nickname flag it keeps the letters in its name all caps (even though it does not have a nickname flag). Obviously this is a game error.

What way is there that i can have these Pokemon's names be in proper capitalization (only the first letter capitalized) without having a nickname flag? BTW I have access to everything (AR, Pokegen, Pokesav etc..)

When transferred Pokémon evolve in Black and White, their name is automatically corrected to the Gen V standard. However, if you have a Pokémon that doesn't evolve or that is fully evolved, you'll have to use Pokésav. The same goes to nicknamed Pokémon.

Can i give it the proper capitalization without setting a nickname flag?

There's no error there; it's perfectly normal.

If you want your Pokémon (in Gen V) to have the new capitalization standard, you're going to have to set the nickname flag, unless you evolve it while it's in Gen V, in which case it won't get the nickname flag.
