Delta Blast Burn Posted November 7, 2011 Posted November 7, 2011 I'm currently editing my SS Save , when i opened the pid finder to edit my bidoof, I noticed that under species, it showed Bastidon, thinking nothing of it i changed it to the correct pokemon, searched, OK. Then, when I was editing my croconaw it said chingling, and thought "that's weird, oh well, whatever", change, search, OK. But here's where it got really wierd, I set the pokemon not thinking to check that the species on the main dialogue, the icon on the box view showed dunsparce, sure enough the species was set to dunsparce. Just wanted to let you know.:kikkoman:
Codr Posted November 7, 2011 Posted November 7, 2011 The PID Finder doesn't automatically set the species unless you click the "F" button next to the PID editbox. It doesn't do anything to the species upon clicking "OK".
Delta Blast Burn Posted November 8, 2011 Author Posted November 8, 2011 That's how I was Doing it, with the little "F". Every pokemon I've tried shows up as incorrect: Paras gives lotad Unown gives rhydon Slowpoke gives Pansage Bidoof gives Bastiodon Croconaw gives Chingling Deoxys gives Cleffa Togepi gives Raikou Ghastly gives Duosion Mareep gives Jellicent Thats all I've tried Also the Language file update shows an empty progress bar.
Codr Posted November 8, 2011 Posted November 8, 2011 Then I'm left to assume you're using an older version, despite the fact that this was never reported with older versions, and the fact that it's not happening for me. The update issue WAS reported with older versions.
Delta Blast Burn Posted November 8, 2011 Author Posted November 8, 2011 Okay, I'll redownload and see if it continues. EDIT: It still does it, just wanted to emphasize that it's the Language update, that doesn't work, I tested it by changing the Revision Number from 1 to 0, and it still does it.
Codr Posted November 8, 2011 Posted November 8, 2011 From program startup to the PID problem, I'll need exact steps of what you're doing. As for the language file, which language? Edit: I've verified and fixed the update problem, but I still need detail on the supposed PID Finder issue.
Delta Blast Burn Posted November 10, 2011 Author Posted November 10, 2011 Drag save onto app Right click on croconaw Party slot 1>View Data Click the little "F" Immediately notice the species says Chingling. Easy as pie. EDIT: I just tried opening the program then File> Load It doesn't do it that way.
Codr Posted November 10, 2011 Posted November 10, 2011 Ok, that did it for me too. I'm looking into it. Edit: It's fixed for the next release.
