Save file problems

Hey i dont know if this has been asked already but i'm having trouble loading my pokemon saves after editing in pokegen. I experimented with changing small things like the nature and when i load the game on my r4 it restarts the game from the beginning. i'm using v3. something and the same happens with pokesav.

What kernal are you using on the R4? If it is the original (v1.18), then that is why.

I actually found out its a clone, r4 deluxe and it does it for all the firware versions? The thing is the same thing happens with my platinum game and that used to work

Try to see if your clone supports Wood R4.

Hello. I need help regarding the pokegen and .(dsv)/(.dst) format. I use desmume 0.9.5 x86 and edit data i need using the pokegen. I save the changes on my .dsv file but they do not seem to apply. I tried this on Pokemon White but to no avail. Any ideas?

you must right click the edited pokemon and click set on each of them. then you can click save as. I had the exact problem and doing what I suggested fixed the problem for me. Im not sure if it is supposed to be doing it or if it needs to be fixed but its not to big of a problem.
