Herol Posted March 18, 2011 Posted March 18, 2011 Ok I just took my pokemon from a platinum save, changing their location to sinnoh in the B&W pokesav but they are detected as illegal. Is there more to it then that? If I could get another DS and transfer them from HG/Plat and use the stupid transfer service would they be legal? They were legal in both platinum and HG.
ReignOfComputer Posted March 18, 2011 Posted March 18, 2011 Obviously. They have to be migrated through the PokeTransfer. You can try using PokeShift.exe that can emulate that process.

I can get another ds probably, but it may take time. I rather not wait almost a month.] Edit: Somewhere during transfer all their natures became hardy, and im banking it screwed up their PIDs as well.

It just sits there with the directory in the cmd and nothing happens. I press enter and it vanishes. Edit: got it to work and all is well. Now if I could only backup my HG and get the pokemon of that too. I dont have a backup tool for it though, just ardsi. Edited March 18, 2011 by Herol
aquaguy34 Posted March 20, 2011 Posted March 20, 2011 I know you can backup saves with ardsi I just don't know how. When I back up my Heartgold I use NDS adaptor plus. If you are planning on buying it, make sure ot get the "plus" one since that one can backup HG,SS,B & W saves.
Pikachunk Posted April 15, 2011 Posted April 15, 2011 Quick question. How exactly do you get pokeshift to work? Like Herol I have the problem where pressing enter would close the window. Is there something I need to do afterward to make it work?
aquaguy34 Posted April 18, 2011 Posted April 18, 2011 Don't use Pokeshift, it's outdated...try poke Transfer, Kazo updated it and it makes it exactly as if it was actually transfered. It works by dragging and dropping a pkm file on it, pretty self explanatory...
