KazoWAR Posted March 14, 2011 Posted March 14, 2011 A 4th gen Pokemon that was breed has an Egg met location of 2000 and that data is kept after being transferred to, but it is not displayed in-game. when loaded in to pokegen it displays the met place in a red box with no text.
Codr Posted March 14, 2011 Posted March 14, 2011 This is probably related to the egg location issue noted in the "Known issues" thread.
KazoWAR Posted March 14, 2011 Author Posted March 14, 2011 This is probably related to the egg location issue noted in the "Known issues" thread. Simple fix would be to add a combobox entry labeled something like "Day-Care Couple (4th Gen)" that is used for the value of 2000.
Codr Posted March 14, 2011 Posted March 14, 2011 There'll be a fix in the next release, but it's not as ugly as what you suggested.
KazoWAR Posted March 15, 2011 Author Posted March 15, 2011 There'll be a fix in the next release, but it's not as ugly as what you suggested. How was that ugly?
Codr Posted March 15, 2011 Posted March 15, 2011 How was that ugly? It's unnecessary, I think. I'll find out when I get around to fixing it.
Codr Posted March 27, 2011 Posted March 27, 2011 I failed to note this down before and forgot about it until Guested pointed out a thread mentioning it. This is fixed in beta 23. It turned out that you were right in needing a new location entry as well.
heyheyheydf Posted May 4, 2011 Posted May 4, 2011 I'd just like to follow this up with a related bug that wasn't caught at the same time as this one. There is another 4th Gen egg location which is carried over into the 5th Gen data which isn't present in the current version of Pokegen. 2002 - Link trade (met) There are also the eggs received from Cynthia and Riley but I don't remember which values those take on.
Guested Posted May 4, 2011 Posted May 4, 2011 Yes, there are plenty more. I found out which values are retained, and Codr knows about this.
