A small correction about the OT name of generation 5 pokemon. If the pokemon is obtained from the daycare as an egg, it will have a simple terminator (\xFFFF after name, but \x0000 afterwards). If the pokemon is captured from the wild (with some exceptions, like those first badge monkeys) it will both have a normal terminator after the name AND last two bytes will be \xFFFF.

The roamers and given Pokemon don't have the two terminators at the end.

I won't bother cataloging what has what, but if you get one of what you want legitimately you can base an edit off of it.
