Actually I think some Gen 4 ones exist our there. 

I'm wondering if they use the wonder card title (meaning it'll be Japanese).

Maybe he uses hypnosis and nightmare on Dialga and Palkia to have them accomplish the same thing?

Couldn't he just use Dark Void then Dream Eater to just rek them anyway?

Typically in other cultures, Hypnosis is used to hypnotize others and control them (as @evandixon described)

Why slowly use Dream Eater, when you can have the ruler of Time and Space at your beck and call?

(I feel like I should make a movie reference here, but all I remember is Ash's impossible leap during the collapsing stairs)
