BlueHoundoom Posted March 1, 2015 Share Posted March 1, 2015 So, I recently purchased a Gateway 3DS flashcard and set my system up to run under the format, but I have no idea how to get/dump a Pokemon X/Y ROM on to my MicroSD card. I am running firmware 9.0.0 so I'm all good there, I just can't figure out how to get the actual ROM on the card. Any help is appreciated. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
RustInPeace Posted March 1, 2015 Share Posted March 1, 2015 Did you boot up the browser exploit? The Launcher.dat file from GW that goes in your 3DS SD Card. There's an option for dumping the cartridge, and it puts it in the SD card. You'd have to move the rom from SD to the MicroSD card that goes in the GW red cartridge. It's straight forward. Andibad Posted March 4, 2015 Share Posted March 4, 2015 You can use rxTools for decrypt rom (is using web browser exploit, so should work on 2.x - 9.2 system). extract repack using makerom and ctrtool, all of them are open source, so you can make own tool (to make them automatic, gui, etc) from sources.
