This is a Wild Area event held by Sword and Shield. This event is also presently the only way for Sword and Shield players to catch Alolan Raichu in Sword and Shield.. To import these files into your save, use PKHeX's block importing function. Our tutorial should guide you through it. Our first post of this page would contain some data relevant to the importing stage. There's info and some common questions regarding Wild Area Events here. To see other Wild Area Events, here.

This is a Wild Area event held by Sword and Shield. This event hosts Gigantamax Sandaconda and Gigantamax Drednaw. This event is also presently the only way for Sword and Shield players to catch East variant of both Shellos and Gastrodon. (Apparently, I forgot that the one that doesn't show up in the wild is West Form.) To import these files into your save, use PKHeX's block importing function. Our tutorial should guide you through it. Our first post of this page would contain some data relevant to the importing stage. There's info and some common questions regarding Wild Area Events here. This is a Wild Area event held by Sword and Shield. It features some water types, with the theme being Sea Pokémon Invasion. It also has a Guaranteed Shiny Wailord, as part of the 5 star roster. One can find a Gigantamax Kingler if they are lucky. To import these files into your save, use PKHeX's block importing function. Our tutorial should guide you through it. This is a Wild Area event held by Sword and Shield. It appears to have some kind of mining theme, with all the Pokémon being at least part Steel, Ground or Rock type. One can find a Gigantamax Copperajah or Gigantamax Coalossal if they are lucky. The release of this event was fraught with issues, and the servers had to redistribute the Wild Area News multiple times to try to tackle them. Note that these are to me memory, and do not have them 100% correct. I'll replace them when proof comes along. Index 27: Initial Release. Has bugged item (0x1604) as part of the rewards. Crashes the game upon receiving it. Index 28: Bonus_reward still has bugged item. However on normal_encount (rigel and base), reference to the bugged item has been removed, instead referencing a different award. However it still appears to be bugged, perhaps server side. These raids could not be done online. Index 29: ??? (I do not have this) Index 30: Properly Fixed: Armorite Ore reinstated in the bugged slot of bonus_reward, and normal_encount references that slot. Index 32: Post Sea Pokémon Invasion To import these files into your save, use PKHeX's block importing function. Our tutorial should guide you through it. Our first post of this page would contain some data relevant to the importing stage. There's info and some common questions regarding Wild Area Events here. To see other Wild Area Events, here.

This is a Wild Area event held by Sword and Shield. Besides Zeraora, all the event slots are held by Pokémon that can Gigantamax. This event allows Zeraora to spawn as event boss, though important to note that it cannot be caught. This event also features the shiny Zeraora, at a higher level of difficulty. If a million Zeraora gets defeated before a deadline, a shiny Zeraora will be gifted to players via HOME. To qualify, you need to shift a mon into HOME during that period. This is the first wild area event since the DLC Isle of Armor dropped. It adds a new file, called normal_encount_rigel1. It either means players with the DLC can have their own event raids (across all of Galar), or these event raids only apply to Isle of Armor. To import these files into your save, use PKHeX's block importing function. Our tutorial should guide you through it. Our first post of this page would contain some data relevant to the importing stage. There's info and some common questions regarding Wild Area Events here. To see other Wild Area Events, here.

It appears that this gift was distributed to players via a serial code, to promote players to visit their local game shops prior to the release of DLC 1: Isle of Armor. The event was distributed to a few regions: Europe - from June 05 to July 05, 2021. Ireland - from June 29 to July 31, 2021. US - from August 14 to August 31, 2021. Using the Dynamax Crystal would allow the Pokémon to appear at the Watchtower Lair's Den as a max raid. To be able to use the items associated with the event, including injecting items into the save and getting it to work, the player's Switch must be connected to the internet, with the Mystery Gift>Get Wild Area News option used during the event period. Alternatively the player must have connected to the internet and redeemed a Mystery Gift during the event period. This gift can be redeemed on either Sword or Shield. As of time of writing, this event is the only way to get Curse on a Copperajah that can Gigantamax without breeding move transfers, from event raids. This events also has a certain fixed IVs. As of time of writing, end date for the serial code redemption is presently unknown. In order for the item (whether redeemed or hacked in) to function, players would need to have at least Wild Area Event #18 downloaded into the save. (When collecting a Mystery Gift, a copy of the Wild Area News would be downloaded to the save) As of LGPE, wonder cards are no longer stored in saves. As such, players will not be able to inject this event into their save using PKHeX. This is a Wild Area event held by Sword and Shield. All the event slots are held by Pokémon that can Gigantamax. This marks the first time the Gigantamax variants of Gengar, Lapras, and Appletun can be encountered on Pokémon Sword (without being hosted by a player that has Pokémon Shield). This also marks the first time the Gigantamax variants of Machamp, Coalossal, and Flappe can be encountered on Pokémon Shield (without being hosted by a player that has Pokémon Sword). This Wild Area event also sees the return of Gigantamax Snorlax and Gigantamax Toxtricity, which normally cannot be found in the base games without Wild Area events. This marks the first time Gigantamax Pikachu was found in Max Raids. This Pikachu has the move Volt Tackle, which is normally only available by breeding (while parent holds Light Ball). Volt Tackle also cannot be passed from breeding parent to breeding parent, unlike other egg moves. Note that the Gigantamax factor cannot be obtained by breeding, thus this combination (Gmax + Volt Tackle) is normally not possible. This also marks the first time Gigantamax Pikachu can be shiny, as the only one previously available was shiny locked. The Wild Area Event for this Pikachu can be found here.

For a short while for the Wild Area event #14, players were able to encounter a Drilbur with Hydro Pump, exclusive to Shield 1 star raids. While it was possible to obtain this legitimately, Game Freak is treating it as though it didn't happen, and this Drillbur cannot be used online. Back when the event was still ongoing, the Wild Area News was updated, and Drillbur can no longer be encountered with Hydro Pump, effectively fixing the error. Any players that did not update their wild area news, or have already caught one, will have the Drillbur unchanged. It is not known if this Drillbur can go into HOME (at time of writing). For the time being, this Drillbur will be classed as illegal.

This is a wild area event held by Sword and Shield. This event does not have any Gigantamax Pokémon encounters. This wild area event seems to feature favorites used in online battles, such as Tyranitar, Excadrill, Whimsicott, Togekiss, Dragapult and Rotom. To import these files into your save, use PKHeX's block importing function. Our tutorial should guide you through it. Our first post of this page would contain some data relevant to the importing stage. There's info and some common questions regarding Wild Area Events here. To see other Wild Area Events, here. Update: In about 9 hrs, they fixed the 1 star Drilbur on Shield: It no longer gets Hydro Pump (Index 19 -> Index 20)
  18. The indexes account for which event in the game first. Index 16 came first, then index 17 (Easter event) interrupted the index 16 distribution. Now that the Easter event ended, GF servers loaded the same event, but as index 18. In other words, even if the mons are the same, they’ll always go up by an index. This happened with other wild area news before.

This is a wild area event held by Sword and Shield, to celebrate Easter 2020. This event allows any game to find Gigantamax versions of Duraludon, Charizard, Copperajah and Garbodor much easier than normal. For this event, Gigantamax Cooperajah is a Sword exclusive encounter, and Gigantamax Garbodor is a Shield exclusive encounter, though to note, the hosted raid can be joined by either games. This event runs till April 16th, 2020. To import these files into your save, use PKHeX's block importing function. Our tutorial should guide you through it.
