Dont worry, im also very new, but emummc its basically if you want to play illegal copies, to avoid "dirtying" your sysnand, i didnt split  and just added the atmos files, start with fusee and done

If you have a legal copy of the game, it should be safe, im usually on syscfw, with a legal copy online, and no problem

U could use a paperclip, but dont recomend, and about moddint its very easy, i didnt split my sd and works just fine, just copy/paste files

IF you have a modded switch you can extract your save, if not... i dont think you will be able to do it

Ok, lets start from scratch.

You need a modded switch to extract your savedata and edit on PKHex, thats a must.

There are some bots on discord that send you a custom pokemon, but not sure there is for S/V yet.

To get your data, you need your save data, or someone who customize for you

If you have the plugin, use the live hex to conect the switch to pc via wifi (u need sysbot base), and get the poke from there

Btw if your console isnt modded, you cant extract your save data

Ok, gotcha.

First capture a pokemon, doesnt matter who is it.

Make a "trainers" folder on pkhex folder

Save your captured pokemon on that folder (pokemon captured.pk9) 

Use the plug in to validate the pokes, and they will appear with your data

Wich game are you playing? And steps you do

Update your pkhex, thats the problem, look the blue text on the topright corner of pkhex

There is a program called nxmtp to conect your switch as USB.

But i use auto-legallity plug in to edit online, to make it work you need sysbot base

Im gonna explain jksv (wich its the one i use)

Open jksv

Select your profile

Select pokemon SV

make a new save

Send the new save to pc

Open file "main" on pkhex

Edit to your liking

Send back folder to SD

open jksv and select pokemon

Hold Y to restore save

You need a program like jksv or checkpoint to make a backup of your save, extract and edit

Or use the plug in

Some pokemons wont be able to transfer from old games, export the pokemon to showdown and use auto-legallity plug in to load it

Make them born from eggs most of them (if not all) and done

its normal it changes OT name to pkhex, to avoid that make a folder named trainers on PKhex folder

place 1 .pk9 file (the pokemon must be captured by you) and go to auto legallity plugin settings, and in the lowest part, says "usetrainerdata" must be true

The box will be filles with legal pokes (unless something truly doent work, it will appear as digglet)

Look for RoC save data/pk files or use the auto-legallity mod

There is a plug in for auto-legallity

after testing, cosmic power skill its the issue, if you take it out it should work, i just added endure just to test and can be traded

Have you tried making a trainer folder on pkhex, and place a .pk9 file of a pokemon you captured there, so everytime you make a pokemon from 0 will have your id/ot, if you manually change id/ot still marks as you arent his original owner, bc you cant even change its name

Yeah, that jist mean another trainer captured the pokemon
