I can see turtwig beating piplup (depends on moves and stats) but chimchar there is just no way! Unless the scenario fell in the favor of turtwig being a higher level but still if chimchar knows a fire type move I dont think so.

    I did not understand a single word of that thing except maybe Nederlands. I think it means Netherlands. Also, you know that the language on these forums is supposed to be english. It says so in the forum rules. I'm not trying to dis the topic but I'm just saying something.

    Infernape learns Thunderpunch, Earthquake and Close combat 3 Moves that score super effective hits on all of the water-x types except Dragon-water.

    What? You have to do that with all of the starters anyway. That isn't even a valid point here.

    NOT TO MENTION Infenape is in his own speed tier! He outspeeds all of the base 100 speed pokemon, without a speed boosting nature. And any pokemon, save ninjask/Aerodactyl/Crobat/Jolteon/Weavile and a few legendaries Infernape outspeeds all of them and the other 450 pokemon that are slower.

    :mad:What do you mean? People have all been saying that "Infernape/monferno/chimchar just KOs the gyms real easy. So I assumed that they meant that the pokemon they needed to train were a lot less then piplup. I mean needed too.:mad:

    Yes Ma'am although honestly just going to the old chateau and killing ghastly's is faster as they die incredibly quickly and give 1 special attack EV per kill and have a 100% encounter rate :D

    O.o so you did agree with me?

    :D That is what I did with my drifloon because all of the moves I wanted for it are the special class so I killed gastly after gastly!

    Aye mate, you get +1 stat point for every 4 Ev's allocated to a specific stat.

    Think of it this way

    Total EV's = 252

    Ev's Gained during current exp stage = 80

    On level up the amount of stat points you would get are: 20 ( 80/4 = 20 stat points ) despite having 252 total.

    Ok then! Once again more good points! Arg, but it is possible. Anything is possible in pokemon practically. Maybe we can just call it even? Um, how in the world does Infernape learn earthquake?

    A Problem with EV Training in Platinum

    I recently decided to pick up on the art of EV Training, and I'm a little confused.

    I'm trying to train my Tropius's Sp.Atk:

    -I'm using a Power Lens

    -I gave it as many berries as I could to lower it's attack and speed EVs

    -It has the cured PokeRus effect

    -I'm on route 208, battling Budew, Roselia, and Raltz in order to gain EVs

    -I have no idea what my EV levels are at, so I'm just guessing that if I keep gaining EVs in Sp. Atk, the stat should increase

    After defeating 20+ of the pokemon listed above, my Tropius grew to level 41 and gained +22 points to it's Sp.Atk stat. Then I just ran to the Sandgem area, took out a badoof quickly, and used the super exp. gain AR cheat to gain a level, and now my Sp.Atk only goes up +3 points...

    Do EVs reset after a pokemon grows a level?

    Well...the stats you gained don't reset (unless you didn't save your game before you turned it off) but once you gain a level that work you did went away into the stats and it shows there not on the next level up. If you want the same results as the first time you are going to have to duplicate the process. Hope this helped

    What if empoleon is a higher level, faster, and uses aqua jet on infernape. That is a water type move and with a higher level empoleon using it odds are infernape is going down. about the elemental triangle thing I guess you are some what correct. Aarg! I hate it when people's points make good ones and they mess up mine!

    Cool! I'm loving that I'm not the only writer here!

    Chapter 3

    Anthony wandered through the woods looking for more pokemon. he really wanted to catch something other then a Michu. He was going to really have to train it if he wanted it to be good. Michu was sleeping again so he couldn't count on it for a battle. Luckily though, he had revived drifloon so they were ready to go. Anthony walked around in the forest for a while trying to find his way. He was not sure where he was going but he was hoping that if he just kept mapping the area with his pokedex 2.0 he would eventually find his way.

    "What are you doing?" asked Drifloon.

    "Wandering about hoping to find the way out" said Anthony.

    "Shouldn't you be filling your pokedex 2.0? If you are lost why not research and if you become friends with a pokemon they might show you the way," said Drifloon.

    "hmmmm...good idea!" said Anthony.

    "I'm only here to serve you" said Drifloon.

    "You know we have to become friends at some point" said Anthony.

    "I know I know, it will strengthen our bond and make us stronger in battle. I've heard that before from your brother. I just dont know about it" said Drifloon.

    "Do you see all those chingling up ahead?" asked Anthony.

    "yes i do" said Drifloon.

    "They look upset" said Anthony.

    "Lets go check it out" said Drifloon.

    Anthony and drifloon found their way over to the line of chingling. They were walking single file through the forest with sad expressions on their faces. Some of them looked worried, and still others looked scared. Drifloon wondered what was going on just like anthony.

    "Floon, loon floon" said Drifloon to a nearby chingling.

    "Ching ching linga ling ling" said Chingling

    "Floon!" said Drifloon in shock.

    "They are in danger! A group of tyranitars attacked their nesting grounds and they were forced to flee to the far west part of the forest!" said Drifloon.

    "That is horrible!" said Anthony

    "I know lets see if they know where we are and where they are going" said Drifloon.

    "Floon loon drifloon floon?" asked Drifloon.

    "Chingching chingling!" said Chingling.

    "Drifloon? Loon loon?" asked Drifloon

    "Ching" said Chingling

    "We are in the far east part of the forest. The exit is in the far north west corner. Also they are going to a nesting ground which is controlled by their evolution chimeechoes however, it is in the trees and the chinglings are worried." said Drifloon.

    "Maybe we can help them get their land back?" said Anthony.

    "Maybe" said drifloon.

    "Floon loon?" asked Drifloon.

    "Chinga chinga?" puzzled Chingling

    "Drifloon!" said Drifloon.

    "Chingling" said Chingling

    "Chingling" said another chingling

    "Chingling ling ling" said yet another chingling

    "Do you here that all of them have started singing! There are so many possibly over 100" said Drifloon.

    "Those must have been powerful tyranitars" said Anthony.

    "We can do it though" said Drifloon.

    "Alright chinglings! Find a safe place to stay and you do you mind working with me?" shouted Anthony to all the chinglings

    "No sir" said the chingling anthony had addressed.

    So anthony, drifloon, chingling, and michu marched off in the direction of the old chingling nests fighting pokemon on the way training and training so that they could beat the tyranitars that threatened the chinglings.

    You guys are all to technical! Aarg! I love piplup and piplup will totally beat the crud out of the main competitor right now, chimchar. Which is a sign that piplup is superior.

    Additionally, who would think that chimchar can learn all of those moves! I was amazed when I found out. I don't think they learn them normally right? Grass knot by TM and Thunderpunch by tutor, I'm not sure about earthquake but I don't think it is a normal level up move. Piplup rules

    Ok then, I always thought it was a test of intelligence to see if you could figure out the fact that they are exactly the same. I guess now that I think about it, it makes sense.

    Really, I never knew that. Oh I get it now, that is why dory said "its half full" and marlin said "its half empty" Oh I see the light bulb now! Ok then well realistically they are the same thing. I can't get over that so I'm still not going to vote.

    Yay! A shaymin voter! However, mew is not mewtwo, mewtwo is what happened when people took the genes of mew and combined them with some other monstrous thing and bang! Mewtwo is born. Plus that is not what this is about. I think though that you just spurred an argument.
