I edited my backup file and it shows that i did but when i go to checkpoint the backup doesn't restore.

I wanna mod my switch so I can get a couple of Pokemon shiny I don't play online I just want them for the collection but is taking a long time to get my job to do so. So if anyone would be willing to help me get a couple of these I would appreciate it.
