NerysRhys started following Pokemon still with "unable to match encounter from origin game"
-
Hi, a while ago, I shared a pk8 file of a male Jellicent (Moyade, since it was in French) in RoC's thread about Pokemon who were marked with an "unable to match encounter from origin game" and were caught in the Wild Area, but not in the grass. (Since it's Jellicent, it was at a lake.) Of all the files I shared, it is still the only one that sill shows that error. I know that the Devs have a list of Pokemon they fixed this problem with, and while there is a Jellicent in the listing, there isn't one with the location of mine. I'm quite reluctant in restoring this save into my game (even if, as my console was banned... I shouldn't even have a problem with it). I don't know if there's still any issue regarding that particular error in Wild Area caught Pokemon... Here is the file of said Jellicent. 593 - Moyade - 0312D6001130.pk8

[Gen 8] PKHex 19.11.25 -- Editing Watts Doesn't Stick
NerysRhys replied to Cryptic Soldier's topic in PKHeX
That's weird, for the Pokemons... I can't check right now if any changes I might make on my savefile stick because I was about to go to sleep (it's about 2am where I live), but I never had a problem like this before... (One time I thought it wasn't working even though PKHeX showed it did, but it was because I forgot to actually restore my save into the game...) As for the watts, I don't think there's a way to edit how much you have on hand yet. Or if there is and the Devs know of it, it might not have been implemented yet into PKHeX. We can only hope it will be there one day. It'd be nice, that's for sure. Other people might have more insight than me on this though. -
[Gen 8] PKHex 19.11.25 -- Editing Watts Doesn't Stick

Do you mean the 'total_watt' line? Isn't it to show how much you've accumulated in total since the beginning in the game, rather than an actual changing of the amount you currently have? (Here, I understand that you wanted to change how much you had on hand, sorry if I'm wrong) For my Sword save it's showing 15044 Watts but I know I never had that many on hand at some point in the adventure... What would be the purpose of changing that amount though? I mean, do you gain something in-game because of how much you've ever earned? --- As for generating Pokemon and them not 'sticking', forgive me if I offense you (at first, when I was using it with XY and co, I was wondering how to make them appear in my boxes), but you do click on the spot you want them to be and select 'Set' before saving your changes to your savefile, right? If you do, forgive me for assuming you didn't. -

Do you mean a file you can then put in your savefile via PKHeX, or do you mean so that someone can send it to you with their game? My console was banned (stupid error, so I can't connect), but if you just want a Zamazenta file for importing it in PKHeX... Here you go? (Looks legit and all even) 889 - Zamazenta - D70CB65867B7.pk8

Ah, sorry for assuming. I've been using PKHeX for a while so I guess I didn't think people were new to it... I don't think I will be of much help, I'm no Dev and I barely understand what's the error means (I see french in the file but I don't get what it means exactly, you know). Have you tried downloading the archive again? Sometimes, it works out...
-
If you try to launch PKHeX while there's the 'PKHeX.Core.dll' from the previous version inside the folder, it won't work. You need to erase it before. They included it in the program itself rather than having it as a separate file.

Hi, I just went back to creating a Mr. Rime, and I discovered that it was marked not legal if I created it while my save was loaded (Shield, at the beginning), but it was totally fine if I had no savefile loaded into PKHeX. Also, when I tried to create it on my Sword save (beat the game on that one) it was totally fine. I thinks it's because you may have not reached the route you encounter it yet. (I put route 10 on the one I created but Mr. Mime also appear at the Lake of Outrage.) Also, you can make it legal by making it as if it was traded. By changing the Original Trainer informations and puttin your name in the 'Last Handler box) Edit: Since the game has 'restrictions' about up to which level you can catch pokemon, it might also be because of this? (Like, if you have one badge, you can catch up to lvl 25 I think it was?, but you can't if they're over that level...)
-
Have you tried to edit the value of 'capture_symbol'?
-
Here, in the SAV tab you have a Trainer Info button. Then it's in the bottom right corner, you can edit a lot of things. (Small edit: I don't know which one would be for the shinies though)

Do you need files about the ones caught in Nests too, or just the ones who weren't in the grass? (Just in case, Givrali, Moyade, Ronflex, Gallame and Lokhlass were caught outside the grass, the others should have been caught in Nests). 471 - Givrali - 277D197B3CE7.pk8 593 - Moyade - 0312D6001130.pk8 143 - Ronflex - A14B22B19028.pk8 475 - Gallame - 0077AB70C278.pk8 131 - Lokhlass - 52617CF4E1FA.pk8 343 - Balbuto - E161D55ECB88.pk8 362 - Oniglali - E44FF081189C.pk8 627 - Furaiglon - 001C2AD3A463.pk8 163 - Hoothoot - 0194BCA2B6B9.pk8 524 - Nodulithe - 65B6EA6E0709.pk8 684 - Sucroquin - 0BE53ECFB4F7.pk8 177 - Natu - 030F700E7919.pk8 819 - Rongourmand - 958DA1A70111.pk8
