    I currently leave my Switch on, all the time. I let if fall asleep, but that's it. Turning off my Switch would require me to go to the person that sold the console to me. He connects his right joy con that he configured to use as a jig, plugs my console to his computer and uses an app (I didn't catch the name of the app) and it is how he boots my console back on.

    I believe my nintendo switch had no back light on. I can't confirm either, as I don't own a USB-C cable.

    @SkyLink24 my console has Switch games installed, that I did not purchase. So I guess ftpd is not an option for me. I set my console to auto RCM but I still needed to re-jig my console after turning it off and on. I had to travel to my plug's house to get my console back on, as he has a jig and the app required on his computer. I suppose I am missing files? Can anyone provide me to a link for auto rcm? I want to hop on PKhex so badly lol

    I finally bought my Nintendo Switch, with homebrew installed. The person I bought it from, told me not to let my console go off. If it does, I'd need a jig and a usb-c cable to get it to the way it is currently set up. Covid19 has left him dry with jigs to sell. So my question is, do I really need both items so I can turn my switch off and on? I wanted to use PKhex, but if I do need a jig and usb-c cable, then I'll have to wait until I get my hand on both. @theSLAYER

    @theSLAYER thank you for replying. The only reason I want CFW on my Switch is so that I can use PKhex on it. Nothing more, nothing less. Well hopefully my console won't get banned, as well as yours.

    I will soon be getting a console with I'm hoping has CFW. However, it will be my first Switch. I know I can't use it for online play. So, my only method of trading will be through Pokemon Home. Can I safely use a Switch with CFW to deposit Pokemon into Pokemon Home?

    It would be decent if people redeeming codes, could post which codes they redeemed. That way, others don't have to waste time going through each code, 1 by 1. From the 1st 100 codes distributed by @Sabresite, I have tried the following but I was unable to redeem. This way, others don't have to go through this lengthy process.

    @theSLAYER I do have checkpoint on my 3DS. I will read that guide. Thank you for the quick response. I had thought about trying Checkpoint for Gen 5 cartridges, but I never did. Thank you so much @theSLAYER. I will definitely be playing my Gen 5 games from now on. It makes me want to go out and buy DPP + HGSS

    So I use JKSV to create MAIN saved data for my Gen 6 and Gen 7 cartridges on my 3DS. However, Gen 5 games do not appear on JKSV's menu. So, how do I do the same for Gen 5 cartridges?
