<p><p><p><p><p><p>The best balls here are Quick Balls/Dusk Balls/Ultra Balls. Nest Balls fail a lot but still work at times, especially if level difference is incredibly high. Other special balls include Repeat Balls (useful for catching duplicate Dittos) and Net Ball (best on Bug/Water), and Timer Ball is okay near the end, but I think it's the same modifier as Dusk Ball when 30 turns pass (at least that's what I think). If all else fails, use Ultras.</p></p></p></p></p></p>

<p><p><p><p><p><p>Use Nest Balls (fails like crazy), start with Quick Balls (since they're x4 modifiers when they start), or use Timer Balls later. Use Dusk Balls if at night (in your case you're not).</p></p></p></p></p></p>

<p><p><p><p><p><p>As for your Gabite, as soon as I'm done, I already have my in-game Trace Gardevoir and Sleep Powder Venusaur ready. My utility Pokemon really save the day: I just wish I can do the same with Smeargle: in fact, I should make a catcher Smeargle. I plan on doing that later.</p></p></p></p></p></p>
