Mega Aggron is one of the sturdiest walls ever made: it's too exciting, except they stupidly decided to put opposite stones on the opposite game. I guess it calls for more interaction. Let's find a way to add each other: I only happen to have Zmaster added in, and I'm trying to get Mewtwo EX added in: but somehow it's not working? Idk.

Wait: Mega Gengar is higher than Mega Mewtwo in SpA? Are you serious?? Mega Gengar is broken: it has Shadow Tag and the speed to abuse it.

The other Megas are quite nice too, but like, that cannot be all of it. And Mega Heracross should have something other than Fury Attack to abuse Skill Link.. please??

I like Goodra, but it just doesn't ring "pseudolegendary" to me, but it looks like melted Reshiram.

I know, it's not really shipping and all, but like, it felt too "intimate" on there, and so far, nothing seems to be exciting about your "friends". I heard post game was disappointing, so I'm taking my sweet time here. They're withholding it all until the sequel/third version, I'm sure of it. Too many references to old Pokemon, but the Hoenn references are too much: is it possible... hmm.

Gogoat is really good: its attack is quite high. It's quite useful it seems like, but just another thing to outclass Sawsbuck and to that effect, Stantler.

If Mega Pidgeot exists I will be very very happy. If not, this game sucks. ><img src="<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/unsure.png" alt=":/" srcset="<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/unsure@2x.png 2x" width="20" height="20" />

I actually found the Old Amber by Rock Smashing: I got it on the rock right before the Fin Fossil.

Auroros is actually very good with its movepool: its movepool is quite intense and even learns Calm Mind and Thunderbolt (though all it needs is Freeze Dry) and some other cool stuff. It even has Snow Warning as hidden ability. You know, this is the kind of movepool that Ice types were supposed to have. It's too bad it gets effortlessly manhandled by the likes of Machop... seriously, that's just so bad.

Yay I have Venusaur now: Petal Dance everything to death! Level 32 evolution ftw. I just trolled the Rock Gym with Honedge: I Sword Danced 3 times and Shadow Sneaked against the leader. I heard the third gym is even better: NOTHING THERE can touch Honedge. Mu ha ha.

Mmm cool. I don't really care for the title legendaries though, so idk why I got X. But either way, that thing's going to be quite cool. Can you test out Geomancy and tell me if the effect passes to another Pokemon when you switch out? If so, that'd be really neat.

I just found Hidden Pumpkin!

............ in all honesty, I thought it was called Hidden Pumpkin because Pumpkin and Amber are the same exact words in Korean. I thought I found the key to unlocking the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown, but then I read the description and realised it's Old Amber. <img src="<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/unsure.png" alt=":/" srcset="<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/unsure@2x.png 2x" width="20" height="20" />

I got Fin Fossil: that's Auroros. Yay! Going to get Tyrantrum in Y.

Also, that fireworks scene... was that supposed to be shipping? Kind of awkward since I'm playing girl in X. They didn't think that through... not to mention all the stupid Konglish. That girl's annoying: always playing 귀요미 by referring to herself in 3rd person and just... well I don't know. She's the annoying type of vibe, lol.

Yeah I was planning on exchanging also. Although the form is called Continental and appears in many other areas, the colours do very well line up with Korean colour scheme of Joseon Dynasty. I absolutely love it!

They made it entirely to troll on poor Butterfree. I'm upset. Struggle Bug got upped to 50 BP, lol. Thief is 60 BP, making it usable.

I like it too. And seriously, that Goodra is disappointingly mono dragon, and has really high SpDef (again with this). It's cool, but like, not what you'd expect from a pseudolegend. And wow, poor Aggron. They should make more jaw moves for Tyrantrum. Poor Auroros is getting destroyed by Fighters and Steel EFFORTLESSLY.

Exploud isn't bad, but still quite unnotable. I would scream for the sake of screaming though, not for brokenness. The idea still disgusts me. Also Overheat and Leaf Storm is nerfed to 130, Draco Meteor is still 140. Ick.

Avalugg... really Gamefreak? Is that your idea of a new ice? Repeating the same overspecialisation of Cryogonal except physically? Ok so it survives a Head Smash from Aggron, but just one.

Some new Pokemon are cool though. You have both Clawitzer and Dragalgae? You know who is going to get Spiky Shield? Ferrothorn -__-

Yay Chesnaught! I got a female frog so I settled with it. Modest nature, which isn't too bad, but pretty hard to use at the beginning. I haven't progressed too much and left off with Froakie, Pidgey, Vivillon (I was trying to see what form I get), and a level 3 Fletching, which I may train and so it is in my party, even though I have a Pidgey.

Unfortunately, from my observation, they were very selective this generation and nerfed stuff and buffed some other stuff. Energy Ball is now 90 BP, which is cool, as it actually differentiates itself from Giga Drain. Unfortunately, they were also trolling when they put Low Sweep as 65 instead of 60, which means TechniBreloom cannot abuse the move anymore.

Also, a lot of new moves involve Special Defence raising or lowering Special Attack. Also a lot of newmons are slow bulkymons, and most are very Specially Defensive. It's ridiculous actually how they are trying to make Special Attacks a lot less frequent, if that's their idea of balance, when regular metagame minus powerful legendaries (like Mewtwo) was predominantly PHYSICAL and not Special. Even Assault Vest only raises Special Defence. I don't understand it.

A lot of this "balancing" has been all but disappointing so far. Electrics got super buffed because they love their Pikachu. Ice, on the other hand...

"Taking it easily" doesn't make the move any less broken in principle than it was made. The principle still stands though, though thankfully, the only known Pokemon with it is Noivern (if Exploud gets it... you can scream, pun intended).

A lot of moves are just there for taste purposes or in-game purposes or things like that: they don't think competitively (i.e. Octazooka).

Amie doesn't help anyone: I don't think it works in competitive actually. And it'd be terrible honestly.

The fairies that need Moonblast all have it: Dazzling Gleam is pointless. It's really... just trolling. I don't even know if Close Combat was nerfed yet but Fire Blast and clones are now 110 BP. <img src="<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/sleep.png" alt="-_-" srcset="<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/sleep@2x.png 2x" width="20" height="20" />

I knew you were going to say that. But that's still a scary move, and stronger than most STABs, even without STAB. Great coverage with nearly anything, actually. So what if Steels come in? Fire Blast them to death. It's still scary that such moves exist though: imagine that with Pixelate and the likes: that would be ridiculous.

"Anything that resists it" can potentially get 2HKOd or OHKOd by the wrong move. It's not too easy, especially if it SDs and starts killing things. Scizor never comes with Sash anyways. Don't like their favouritism, really.

A lot of moves got nerfed. Ice Beam/Tbolt/Flamethrower are 90 BP now, Moonblast is still 95. Grrr.

What the heck... nickname is translated 닉네임 (Nik-Na-im) and not 별명 (byol-myong.. 別名) ... stupid Anglicisms are utterly confusing. I'm having a discussion about nicknames and stuff because friends want to name me in this game apparently. I don't like Korean translations: they try to make things English so it really confuses me, a linguistic "purist". Oh well, I knew I'd be disappointed. AH, level 9 and level 12 evolution. It's a bit harder than the previous cocoon Pokemon that were 7/10. If you can, please try it out. There's like, 16 known Vivillon patterns and every region in the world is different.

I like them all, but it's just that, I wanted to pick Fire this time because I never do because I never really liked the Fire starters... until now. I usually pick Water, or sometimes Grass if I want to try that flavour. At one point I did try Typhlosion, but just because it was canon for Gold to have one. Unless you can give me a starter baby I can breed. Hey, I know.
