  1. As the title says, I'm looking to learn how to make my Pokémon completely indistinguishable from real caught Pokémon; even to other knowledgable PKHex users. This isn't so that I can pass off fakes as real Pokemon in trades, but for my own OCD as well as to future-proof myself in case Nintendo decides to get more serious when it comes to detecting hacked pokemon. If someone has a lot of experience with this, please let me know. I would actually be willing to PayPal someone some money to walk me through this. (10 to 20$ depending how complicated it is). (Just for example. I don't care that the pokemon is Legal. I already know how to do that, but for example if a certain pokemon is shiny locked, even though if I made such a pokemon shiny it would still pass as Legal, but it would be clear to anyone with basic knowledge that the pokemon was hacked. I want to avoid this in every way possible.) Thank you.
  2. I just started playing Pokemon Showdown about 2-3 weeks ago and all that's available for the battling music is some very generic oldschool Pokemon songs. I would like to completely mute this and instead play my own Pokemon Songs on repeat while battling on there. I prefer songs that are rather creepy or dark, yet intense like...it's a "dire situation" battle. Songs like these: Those are the only two I know of so far that I'm going to add to my playlist. Can anyone suggest to me any others that conform to my tastes? Thanks.
  3. I do like playing the games but I already beat Ultra Sun legitimately but now I simply want all of the legendaries exclusive to Ultra Moon. Making a new file and then copying that exactly to the finished save is a great idea ty.
  4. I want to get someone's completed Ultra Moon game save online somewhere and download it, and change my character name to the one I usually use, unflag all the legendaries and catch them with my trainer's name as their original trainer. I was already told by Slayer that he would see no reason changing just the name would be a problem, however... Any game save I get online is going to be used by potentially hundreds of different people; all with the same TID and SID. Basically the question could also be asked as: Are TID and SID 100% randomly generated in Gen 7 when you start the game? Or to word it more bluntly, can I change character name, Trainer ID, and Secret ID and have it be 100% undetectable in Gen 7 so that I may still "legitimately" catch these legendaries?
  5. Is this possible in every single main Pokemon game? (Resetting the legendaries so that I may catch them multiple times). And also, is your in-game character name correlated with anything whatsoever or am I free to change it at will without it harming anything or making any illegitimacy detectable? (Possibly even including Gen 3/4?) If both of these are possible / true I'm buying every single Pokemon game that ever came out. (Planning on installing saves at the end of the games, changing my name to the usual, and resetting every legendary event flag).
  6. Nevermind. I figured it out. I'm an idiot. I hunted those on my sister's 3DS earlier this morning and traded them. Got such little sleep that I forgot about it... I just checked my sister's 3DS' date and time and it matches with those...... Sorry to waste your time...
  7. Phone died RIGHT when I was about to email myself the pictures. But it showed the correct time. 09/05/2018, 13:01 hours (1pm Eastern) I'll still post the pictures once my phone charges a bit if you want me to but...I have no reason to lie. The time is correct.
  8. The boxes are rather well organized. All of the Pokemon in Box 2 (Named Clones) were caught in Ultra Space. Every Pokemon in that box has the correct date caught except for all of the ones I caught today (and I don't remember doing anything different whatsoever in between the time I caught yesterday and before's Pokemon and and today's Pokemon. It *does* make me think I did something unbeknownst to me either last night or this morning BUT...it doesn't because... Look at Box 6 and 7. 99% of them have met dates of over 11 years ago. These Pokemon were all hatched and then literally the only thing I did to them was use PKHeX to turn their level to 50, and then used 1 or 2 Rare Candies to evolve them; nothing else. Although, we can all assume that the met date was the same before I edited the level and before I evolved them. So, no idea what's going on. I really hope someone can tell me what IS going on so that I can know how to fix it. Because I like to clone Pokemon, keep the original version, edit the cloned version so that it is immediately 100% competitive, slowly do what I edited on the cloned Pokemon with the original Pokemon manually, and then replace the cloned Pokemon with the 100% legitimate self-made originals. But if the date is screwing everything up when I'm doing nothing wrong, well...I don't / won't feel as if the originals are actually legitimate anymore...which is a huge problem for me and the way I like to play. Please help! main
  9. EDIT: Ah. I see what it's saying. Any ROM isn't an EXACT copy of ANY game. It (they) really can't be. They are simply the work of good programmers making their best attempt to make a perfect copy of the original title(s). Which means that unless for some reason whomever (or the group of programmers most likely) coded the rom managed to mine ever piece of data and copy it 100% correctly, there are bound to be errors such as this. So I suppose I just got lucky with the Pokemon I've caught so far. No big deal though, I'm doing this so I can get a legitimate Ho-oh with it's HA (which is the only game you can get it in). If I catch an error one, I'll just reset over and over until I get one that isn't a mismatch and has the correct nature.
  10. Thing is, I know of this PID mismatch thing. However, I've caught a bit over 30 Pokemon so far and they all are "Legal" by PKHeX standards. (not showing Encounter Type PID Mismatch).
  11. Where should I do this? And I'll do it, but I don't see what they could possibly say. I caught them legitimately, no hacks no nothing, just went through a portal, caught a Suicune with an Ultra Ball, and boom it has a met date of 11 years ago... I saved all the original versions, but I made copies of them and fixed the met date on them. Now I'm not sure which one of the two is less legitimate lol....
  12. Oh wait a minute. I posted two threads at the same time and coincidentally one was asking if emulator Pokemon are legitimate (it should be right below this one). I thought this was that thread. Was wondering why you were asking if I was using an emulator when I said I was using an emulator lol No, I'm catching all these Pokemon on a regular 3DS.
  13. ^As the title suggests, I'm looking for a game save of Ultra Moon preferably with 0 legendaries caught but ready to be caught (At least at Ultra Space, best case scenario E4 beaten). Nothing else matters to me (Character name, gender, items, current Pokemon, etc) Thanks in advance if anybody has what I'm looking for.
  14. I recently realized I could download roms for games I don't have and the file extension is exactly the same as a legitimate cartridge save's file extension. I opened up my file in PKHeX from Pokemon HeartGold and threw my Cyndaquil onto my cartridge copy of Ultra Sun. Is this Cyndaquil (or *any* Pokemon I were to catch on an emulator) exactly the same as the real deal? (If so that's wonderful considering you can speed up emulators dramatically for faster gameplay).
  15. As the title says: Why does every Pokemon I catch in Ultra Sun show their met date as 02/06/2007; which is not only incorrect but completely impossible? EDIT: I realized this after I just caught a Suicune and then checked every other Pokemon I caught. They aren't all 02/06/2007 but about 80% of them are within 10 days of that date. The other ~20% are correct. ALL of these Pokemon were caught legitimately and NOT edited. So, what's going on?
  16. Wonderful. Thank you so much. One last question for clarity: I did not add things such as nature, IVs, etc onto that list because of what you stated previously. I know you were referring to Generation 3/4 but how about all other generations where such values or whatever were coded differently? (Gen 6/7 is my main concern here simply because I *believe* you can catch all existing Pokemon in those games; or at least the vast majority) Am I free to edit those as well in non-Gen 3/4 (or specifically Gen 6/7) and have it be indistinguishable from a legitimate Pokemon as well? Or does TID/SID etc also correlate with such values as they do in Gen 3/4? Also, while I'm on the subject of TID/SID, in Gen 6/7 am I also able to edit Trainer Name, Trainer and Secret ID freely and have it still be indistinguishable from a legitimate Pokemon? In other words, is Trainer ID / Secret ID / Name completely independent of all other attributes? I suppose answer to the above question would also answer this one but I just want to clarify for 100% certainty.
  17. Yes, they aren't "presently" banning for modded Pokemon, but they may in the future and nobody truly knows when / if this will ever happen. Nintendo is a business. It's just basic math in this sense: If they assume more people are quitting over people modding Pokemon than there are modders themselves, the sound financial decision is to ban the modders. And yes, maybe the scales will never tip to the wrong side. Maybe we will be free to mod legal Pokemon for eternity, but if there's even a .01% chance that this may happen, I don't wish to take ANY risks whatsoever. So if I may repeat my previous question, if someone would be so kind as to answer to the best of their ability: Is there *ANY* way to even tell if any the following attributes were edited? If so, which ones? And if there are additional attributes I haven't listed that you know are completely undetectable changes, what are they? (Once again, Gen 6/7 exclusively). A Pokemon's Level (As long as it is legal) Move Pool (As long as the Pokemon can learn that move in the generation / game it was met in) Poke Ball (As long as it is legal) Met Level (As long as it is legal) Met Date (As long as it makes sense) Effort Values (EVs) Gender I would be *incredibly* grateful to an answer to this question. Thank you.
  18. Oh trust me, I'm not a dishonest person or I should say I try my best not to be. I would never try to pass off a hacked Pokemon as legitimate. My reasoning behind wanting to know everything about how to make a Pokemon appear 100% legitimate rests solely on the fact that I do not want to ever come even remotely close to risking be banned by introducing said Pokemon online. Also, I made sure this website / forum was alright with PKHeX and the like before I made my account. Also, I used a different username here so that nobody on any other forum could connect me to this username; not because I wish to do anything malicious, but simply to protect my image. You mentioned earlier in the thread that changing a Poke Ball is harmless as long as that Pokemon can be caught with that Poke Ball in that specific game; which seems to make sense. Though, I have another question if you don't mind: What are all the things (that you know of) that I can edit without ANY worry whatsoever (or at least if you could list / confirm the ones you are certain of; if you don't know them all)? Currently what I would *assume* these things are: A Pokemon's Level (As long as it is legal) Move Pool (As long as the Pokemon can learn that move in the generation / game it was met in) Friendship Poke Ball (As long as it is legal) Met Level (As long as it is legal) Met Date (As long as it makes sense) Effort Values (EVs) Gender (This one I'm very uncertain of) Are any of these wrong? If so, which ones? And if I'm missing any, please let me know which one(s). And I think I should clarify that I am not speaking of Gen 3 or 4, but rather Gen 6/7 exclusively. Thanks in advance.
  19. Alright, gotcha, thanks man. Sorry for the miscommunication both ways and my newbieness. Final question though: Do you know of any threads / websites / write-ups etc that contain more in depth information of this kind of stuff (Player ID, Trainer ID, Secret ID, the correlations between all of that, etc) so that I may educate myself more as I move along? I would like to eventually become an absolute expert at this; for both the good (helping my friends that do care about hacked Pokemon determine if their Pokemon are hacked or not), and the naughty *wink*. Thanks. And thanks for all the help so far.
  20. I apologize but I still think you're misunderstanding what I'm asking. I do know that you can't have certain IV/Nature combinations, and more, in gen 3 and 4. (I do not create any Pokemon from 3/4 because of this reason). I know that I can't catch a Pokemon in Ultra Sun with a Heavy Ball for example. I know you can't hatch a Gen 6 Egg in a Gen 2 City. I know what you're saying with the Munchlax / Snorlax thing and I know you can't set the met date say, a date before the game itself was released, etc etc. I also also only edit Pokemon that I catch on my own and NEVER from scratch. Here is what I don't know and is my question (And trust me I know it's a rather abstract question and it's difficult for me to word it so people understand what I'm asking, but I will do my best): Let's say I get all of that right: Met date, Poke Ball, Legitimate Moves, Created from scratch, Met Location, ALL of that. PKHeX says it's legal (which checks 90% of stuff but not stuff like met date and others, though let's also assume that's correct). ^That said, IF all of this IS correct, does the SID, TID, PID, Encryption Constant have ANYTHING to do with all of this? Or, can I leave it as is and not worry about it? And if they DO matter, is there a way to find the correct values to make the Pokemon COMPLETELY undetectable? I hope I worded that right. =P I knew it was going to be hard to word before I even made the post. =P
  21. To clarify about the video thing, I don't know which video you're referring to. This question came solely from my own curiosity and the fact that I want to remain as safe as possible when it comes to creating Pokemon through PKHeX. Also, I haven't even once gone online with ANY of my Pokemon that I have made through PKHeX, and I will not do so until I am certain I am able to make a Pokemon that is "100% undetectable (in terms of legality/legitimacy). Furthermore, I had already planned to make sure that once I do first introduce a hacked Pokemon, I've looked through it thoroughly (almost obsessively) to make sure that not only is it "legal", but raises absolutely no red flags, and once I DO introduce it, I will not make any further edits to that Pokemon, because I had thought the same thing you're saying (About introducing a Pokemon and then editing it and reintroducing it) However, I am novice to intermediate (more on the novice side) on what raises red flags. So, my main question was this: Of the things I've listed (And anything else you can change, but mainly the ones I've listed), would any of these changes end up raising a red flag because it does not correlate with the correct SID, TID, PID, Encryption Constant, etc? Or are all of those examples completely independent of other changes themselves? Just to clarify, let's say I change a Mewtwo I caught from Naive to Timid. Let's say I change the Poke Ball, or any of the things that I listed. Do any of these value swaps affect anything besides the immediate swap itself? As in, by editing <whatever is on that list, may it be 1 or more things>, does anything else *need* to be changed in addition to that, in order for the Pokemon to remain legal and not raise any red flags?
