For all of you who wants to edit roms using Citra emulator just follow this great video! Just DON'T download v11 of HackingToolkit3ds, but choose V9 version and it works. Don't ask me if this tutorial also works with 3ds physical games with homebrew etc etc.

Hello, I was wondering if anyone could give me some direction in trying to randomize Sun Moon running with Citra emulator. ORAS run just fine but tha latest games seem to have problems following the same steps.

I know, but with the newer version I can't get the program working. I just want to randomise trainers team and it only works with the old version I quoted before.

I suggest everybody to use the latest stable release of pk3ds. It's "old" because it was released on december 2015 but at least it works with XY and ORAS. link here https://github.com/kwsch/pk3DS/releases

Can someone tell me why ORAS (edited with pk3ds and build with Dot Net 3DS ) is running fine with Citra while Sun and Moon don't even open? I use the same method: 1) extract the rom with Dot Net 3DS 2) edit the extracted rom with pk3ds (for example edit trainers' pokemon or wild encounters) 3) repack the edited rom with Dot Net 3DS 4) open the new rom file with Citra and play! ORAS works fine. Sun and Moon give me "unknown error" and don't start.
