just a note about the "start every floor with map" code, if you have the iq skill "Super Mobile" which normally allows you to dig anywhere it'll look like you're instead operating like a ghost pokemon where you'll pass through walls but the map and the floor will functionally treat it as if you've dug it out anyway.
just a note, since i tried porting this code over to the european version and found that it's just a side effect of the code apparently

another side effect is potential corruption of the save file because using completed save files with the code basically wipes it upon reset for some reason. both american version and the european version i made do it; the european version made it more obvious after using an escape orb where it corrupted the map screen of pokemon square

  2. Would it even be possible to modify sky's? The code for blue and the code for sky seem to do different things (for instance, the blue code allows the player to recruit a pokemon from any distance when hit, found out by accident when I used shadow ball on a pokemon across the room and they asked to be recruited lol) that ultimately lead to the same conclusion?
is sky just 'too different' compared to time and darkness?

Just simply curious is all, I know this forum is mostly dead but I'm mainly curious when the only results I can find of the topic are requests made well over a decade ago on different forums and the like.

  3. Whoa topic old

I have a code to add

    921BA4B8 000000FA
    121BA4B6 00000000
    121BA4B8 000003E8

Should function as an infinite steps no wind code. Only used in practice on beach cave but theoretically should be any dungeon.

edit 10/03/2022: okay it did but also not in a fun way. doing a recruit% run on blue with this code's equivalent kinda broke it (enemies don't spawn unless it counts down). So I ran around in blue and now i've basically forced it to loop roughly. I don't know what'll happen if the dungeon count is set to 500 or 2000 steps, namely if 'something's stirring' appears it probably won't actually 'stir' with this code. but hey there's the warning

  4. I'm more posting this for the sake of it, since I'm trying to look into this myself, but explorers of sky and blue rescue team ended up getting 100% recruitment codes, and I'm wondering if the same could be done for explorers of time and darkness. I figure it's probably not been done since not as many have wanted to play them (and I can't blame you when looking at sky).

I've done some poking apart of sky's recruitment code to attempt to find it myself, but the games are pretty different and I don't think I'm looking in the right places (I was using explorers of time and the same region for it and sky just incase you were wondering). So I'm just gonna leave the request up as it doesn't seem like much of a surprise that the internet yields no result for these probably due to their difficulty and the fact sky exists and is considered better. All I've come across is people requesting it, mostly from over a decade ago.

So I'll make a request for it here in the current day. Hopefully if someone does do it, it's cross-region as well, although it's not a big concern if it isn't.

  5. I tried to back it up before I edited but then I backed it up too many times and then lost the hope.

I have that state from April like I said which is hardly different from the state I have now and I could easily recomplete it to where I'm up to. Editing in the stuff seemed to break it though so I'm wondering if SkyEditor is breaking something important

I of course knew to back it up, and used a copy for editing but I've lost the backup now since I used it afterwards too without saving properly.

I'm lucky I have the april save at all.

I also got lucky before since I tested the save to add in a Kecleon from an earlier version which also doesn't seem to work (the version, Kecleon exists) which is odd.

  6. I've checked it several times in desmume, using different methods of editing, I'm not sure what's wrong

I can tell when it's not corrupted if I can skip past the screen with the Pelipper, but each time it fails.

I did see that, but that's a bit odd.

I also looked up Bountiful Sea and for some reason in your editor it only allows 3 Pokemon where in the game it allows 9 Pokemon and I think I filled it up :/

  7. I used it, edited some things, saved and I've tested on my flash card and it's still bringing up the same results, nothing

I don't get it, why does it say it's corrupted? Especially after I modified nothing (there's no cheats on) it was working perfectly

I don't understand why it keeps saying it's corrupted...

I even had an earlier state (from april I believe...) where I was in wish cave because jirachi and I edited that (in that alpha build) and even that came out as corrupted.

Not only that, but your editor seems to like mixing up Pokemon

    eg

I have a carvanha called "Carvan", in the brackets is referred to as a roselia http://prntscr.com/8p454k

Shallow Beach, I have a wingull named "Sky" and it is called a shiftry http://prntscr.com/8p45ge

Mt. Deepgreen, I have a teddiursa called "Teddiursam" but is referred to as a heracross http://prntscr.com/8p45t0

There's several more but it'd be too difficult to name them all.

I picked the RBSaveEU when loading the game (otherwise I've seen it load it as if it were an american game with level 104 Unowns), but it still bugs out.

  8. Tried using the earlier version and now my flash card and desmume isn't reading the save

I want to add 4 Pokemon to the save, what am I doing wrong?

I was using 3.2 so I could add it but even that dun work

Using 3.3 is buggy as all heck and your new one doesn't seem to work as easily

    I don't understand...

Edit: Ok, I can put my 3.2 save in your newer one but again it seems to have issues like mentioned above

Included is a download link (or 'attachment') to this modified save. I'm a real impatient person and since I'm basically responding while you're asleep and vice versa, and I don't know saves, I figured help could be wanted. I'm sorry if this an inconvenience, it is for me too :(

I say my flash card because normally I play on there and it normally reads saves flawlessly. However it's saying it's corrupted. I don't know what's wrong in the case.

  9. sorry for such a late thing but I seem to have more issues

I can open and use SkyEditor but I can't save a file, specifically my Blue Rescue Team save, no matter if modified or not it crashes the program

It didn't show any error except for Microsoft's junk

"Files that help describe the problem:

    C: \Users\Owner\AppData\Local\Temp\WER8E2F.tmp.WERInternalMetadata.xml

    C: \Users\Owner\AppData\Local\Temp\WERA133.tmp.appcompat.txt

    C: \Users\Owner\AppData\Local\Temp\WERA163.tmp.mdmp"

I might have forgotten a few things since it's been a while but I wanted ti use skyeditor and it hated me today. Ahaaaaa...

  10. "Show details" in the microsoft junk that shows up =

(have no idea what some of this means)

Can't even access the program itself.

  11. Hello? Is this thread dead? I really don't wanna just put this to rest for eternity...

Why has the recruitment code been so hard to create? I'm just curious what factors go into making that be so hard. You hit an enemy, game determines percentage and rate and you either get it or not. How come it's that difficult?

  12. guess it dun matter. Ok then.

I had a thought; what if we could alter the Sky code to work for Blue? Usually the trigger to turn 100% on is L+Select and then the off button is R+Select. If they're so similar then maybe the code could be easier? Not really sure but it could be possible.

As for figuring out luminous orbs, idk...
