  1. There are plenty of guides on how to do this. I feel that the issue here is that most users are too lazy to simply search for it themselves.   2. Isn't the current source version of pk3ds set to have options on the personal editor? For me, about a month ago, I just edited the randomizer code for the personal editor and remove the typing. Easy 5 minute solution.
  3. The first encounter is simply a scripted battle, this does not mean Wurmple will appear in the route if you have randomized the wild pokemon. Ability Randomization will be within the personal editor. Sounds like you have trainers randomized (like a youngster could be a champion etc) It seems as though there may be one (or more) broken classes that are currently in the list to be randomized. I'd hold off on trainer class randomizing until we have this issue solved.

Odd, are you sure you're putting the 0.25 not .25 etc It works for me everytime, and i've made like, 9 different randomized roms now If it doesn't work, why not give 1.25 a try (prolly won't work, but trial and error, ya know?) Edit: If you decide to use my method on a rom that has already been editted (already has level 100 trainers) then my method will not work. You will need a clean set of trainers that are at their original levels.
  6. there is another way! If you use the trainer enhancer, type 0.5 for 50% stronger trainers. Before the fix, you had tp us 0.* for your boost. examples 0.25 25% 0.55 55% Now remember, this has to be the last option you change on the menu, if you adjust other options on the same screen directly after instead of confirming cbanges right away, the number will return to 1 or 0! I hope this helps.
  7. Alright, so if this is the case, I must ask, how do I play without the patch? Previous to installing the patch, I have been unable to play my modified pokemon games I'd be stuck on the 3DS loop upon starting the game. The only solution I could find was to install the patch. Do you perhaps have a way to solve this problem without using a patch?
  8. I have done both, I thought that would be obvious already.. The issue is that when we're done rebuilding the exefs and the romfs and then going ahead with the makerom process, our TM's remain unchanged.

I do just that! i rebuild the exefs and try to makerom and it makes the rom but nothing changes i also rename .code.bin back to code.bin and move exefs fils back to existing directory and makerom and still nothing changes (I've also tried making rom with .code.bin file as well, no difference) Is there something I'm missing when doing makerom?
  11. Hmm, so I managed to use the TM/HM Editor, and it loads and compresses fine. But when I manage to make my rom and give it a try, my TMs remain unchanged. Are there any steps I could be missing that would cause this?
  12. I'm not too sure if this is the right place to be asking this, but I'm gonna try anyway Is it possible to randomize Pokemon in the Personal Editor without randomizing typing? It seems that whenever I randomize, it'll randomize the typing as well! I'm looking to create a randomize nuzlocke, but I'd like to go without a psychic/normal poochyena Have you thought about making the randomizer for the Personal Editor similar to the Trainer Editor? (menu with options) Sorry for all the crazy questions.. ;o; **EDIT** I just ended up taking the typing out of the randomizer in the source code and recompiling, thanks for your fantastic tool ^^
